Found this little gem by accident. On our way to concert in Portland and this place was just right there under our nose. Everything about it was great! Food, service, and atmosphere!Food: 5/5
I went in with positive impressions from friends who lived in the area years ago. My initial impression from seating, getting a drink, and getting a New York steak delivered fast was all positive. The food looked great, big portion, well presented. Then it went down hill.... The steak was tough at medium rare and very bland. The baked potato was under cooked and there was a huge side of cauliflower; even if it was cooked, which it wasn't, who wants that? Salad to start was iceberg with a few croutons and shreds of cheese; very bland. Bread was best part of the meal. I was thoroughly unimpressed. I will say the service and drinks were good. Good sized covered outdoor area. If you go get something simple.
Had a French dip and Swiss with French fries for lunch, service was quick and friendly, food was excellent, options to done inside or outside in the shade. Family friendly, lots of parking, definitely will grab lunch here again, I recommend to everyone, will get better pictures next time Parking: Lots of shade and covered parking if you desire
Very fun place for a meal! Good food, good service, amazing decor! I just wish they sold swag/merchandise online. I didn't know about it until afterwards and our server didn't say anything about it. Is be happy to provide free advertising with a branded t-shirt!Food: 4/5
Was craving fish & chips with a good drink. I found it here and some pretty decent service. The fries were so good and crispy. I like the hometown bar type a feel when you walk through the doors. It's was all smiles in there.
Fun family owned business. Our waitress had been with the restaurant over 20 years! She was knowledgeable about the fun memorabilia in the restaurant. The father of the current owner collected all the items you see in the restaurant! The food was great.Food: 5/5
We parked in the back of the restaurant, not realizing there was a large parking lot in front. We heard the music, saw a small door, could not see in windows. I admit, I hesitated going inside. That would have been a mistake! They have so much to see and experience inside. Antiques, collectibles, items from around the country. We are here in October, so some Halloween flare to boot. Menu was a nice mix of historical stories, plus the classic list of foods. Everyone working are very nice and attantativeting to the patrons. We ordered a single nacho plate. Upon receiving, we should have brought guests. Huge serving, great price and great staff. Come for the food, the atmosphere, and the history. When you arrive, just remember to park in the front.
Update on from a previous review. Food still good. The atmosphere was good. The service was absolutely some of the worse I've had in a long time. Arrived at 608 pm. Not crowded or busy at all. 613 pm server ask for drink order. Got within a few minutes. Other person I was with needed a few more minutes and that turn into 23 minutes later. Server apologies for the wait. No reason why but did find out later. Food arrived 633pm. 635pm server brings another drink. Eat meal..drink both drinks...and not once did anyone check on us. At 700pm I put my wallet and card on the table for anyone to see. Other servers see it and not one offer to help or get our server. At 710pm server finally shows up cleans the plates off the table and gives bill..again with an apology. I scan the dinning area there is one table with customer with a different server helping them. People at the bar. Pay the bill and leave at 714pm. I look at the patio outside and see our server with another group of people hanging out with them and their dog. MY suggestion is Craver hanger. Better service. Won't be back for a long time here.
Very nice spot to chill and study or knock back a few brews with the boys. A mixed crowd here means you won't ever be bored with the patrons. The employees are professional and a little saucey, just how it should be. This is my favorite local bar by far.Food: 4/5
I was so disappointed paid over 100 to have burnt burgers and a not so good waitress that was running the bar and not so interested in our table! We did kinda come in late in the evening but had never been here before and will not probably return! If you are a drinker then this is for you cause you won’t be able to taste the food but if you want a fund atmosphere and bad food then come here
