Nestled in the heart of Wapiti Valley, perched above the Shoshone River, Wapiti Lodge finds itself in an optimal location between Cody, Wyoming and the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This makes it the ideal base to explore the cultural, historic, and scenic pursuits of the area. Enjoy the true western experience, surrounded by mountains and wildlife, with the convenience of town 20 minutes to the east. Rich in history, Cody offers is home to a vibrant downtown area with shops and restaurants, a world famous nightly rodeo, museums of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center and more. Heading west of the lodge towards Yellowstone, you will experience some of the most breathtaking scenery in the US, including rock formations that hug the Shoshone river, abundant wildlife and endless opportunities to explore the area.
Built in 1904 and restored in 2012, the Lodge features 6 private guest suites, all with full baths and kitchenettes. We also offer a 2-bedroom River House, a Sportsman's Cabin, and the new 2-bedroom Hunter’s Cabin, all located a few short steps to the Lodge. The Cabins and River House have equipped kitchens with a range, oven, refrigerator, and microwave.
