1995 to Present - Trial Lawyer. Helping people that are injured, damaged, or struggling to receive payment from their insurance company even after asking, pleading, and praying for fairness. Many of the insureds that I represent and help have lost their homes and/or businesses from fires, hurricanes, tornados, ect. Others, involved in personal injury accidents have lost the ability to work and enjoy the life they had previously known. Many have little or nothing left except a contract, with a huge insurance corporation, to make them whole again. Conversely, the Claims Adjusters associated with the insurance company refuse to follow the contract/policy of their insured. The adjusters know that most people, regardless of their education and or business experience, cannot read and understand the intricacies of their insurance policies. These include sensitive time limits, additional coverages buried in the policy, requirements to receive the benefits owed, who's insured, exclusions used by adjusters that don't apply, and necessary procedure required to maximize recovery including Alternative Dispute Resolution remedies contained in most all policies. 1986 to 1995 - Insurance Claims Adjuster. Insurance Claims Supervisor, Insurance Claims Assistant Manager, and Claims Manager. First employed by The Hartford and subsequently USF&G Insurance. Responsible for handling, supervising and managing over 50,000 injury, hurricane, tornado, and other claims, under personal and commercial property and casualty coverages/policies of every type. During which, I completed the following Insurance Designations;
