I have a very old Sharpei named Franky and the folks here take such good care of him. Frank is comfortable with all the techs and vets. Lucky to have found them. Last Friday I lost my Frankie to old age. The folks at Best Friends were very compassionate and helped me in such a difficult time. They put him at ease and he fell asleep on my lap. My heart is broken over this but it was time. Was thankful for the staff and the way everything was handled. Received a card for the vet in the mail signed by all the techs and vets to express their sadness over Frankie’s passing. Very sweet gesture. Not sure if I will be ready for another dog anytime soon but if I do I will be returning.
The entire staff at Best Friends are absolutely amazing & they always make me & my fur babies feel important & they take the best possible care of us all!! We feel like family there & can’t begin to say how appreciated that is!! I never feel anxious about the care my babies will get there, whether it is to take care of something wrong or to take care of them when I leave them in their care to go out of town…such a blessing!!!
We were vacationing in the area when we noticed a lump on our dogs leg. We went to The Best Friends Veterinary Hospital because they would accept walk-in cases. They appeared to be very busy, but we were pleasantly surprised by the number of doctors on staff. Our wait time was shortened to only 15 minutes until we were taken from our car to an exam room. A highly skilled tech did an initial exam as she calmed our dog with a cheese covered tung depresser lollipop. The veterinarian completed the exam and advised us to schedule with our home vet, as our dogs condition, while not an immediate emergency, would require surgery and follow up. He definitely had both our dog's and our best interest at heart and we appreciated his honesty and skill.
The entire staff at Best Friends was amazing during a very challenging time for my family. Their compassion was unprecedented in my experience with other vets and we would give them 100 stars if we could
They are very good to our dogs each time we've been for their visits. We've had 2 emergency situations with our grandma's elderly dog within the last month, they told us to come over right away. Sadly we had to allow grandma's little dog to be with God. The vet, assistants, and every employee there was very kind and had taken every step they could to save her and were there for our grandparents as they said their last goodbye to their sweet little dog. They will always hold a special place in our hearts for being such caring and empathetic people who not only try in every way to save animals lives but who are also willing to comfort the animals and their owners/parents, when they have no other choice than to help the animal have a peaceful end to life. We appreciate everything you all have done for our animals thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
My cat Carl was acting funny one night after I got off work. She had a blockage, and her bladder ruptured as we got there. The on-call vet there was on top of it and saved her life. They have continued to tolerate this scared pet owner compassionately.
Dr. Kristen Miller understood my dog’s issues and performed tests to rule out serious problems. We try to see her whenever possible. She and her techs are so caring and really interact with your pets. The only problem I have is their prices went up and that was a little concerning. Otherwise, I know my fur babies are getting the best care.
Extremely disappointed in Best Friends practice. Their prices are extremely high and they do not discount for seniors or military veterans. They charged for blood work which I said I did not want and charged for an RX which I had at home. Bill was around 3K. Unacceptable! I'm looking for an affordable vet. Also had to wait 1.5 hours before vet even looked at an emergency situation! Would not recommend!
A BIG THANK YOU TO BEST FRIEND!! I brought into the office a 3 month old kitten with continued upper respiratory infections. I just recently took her back in because she had stuffed up nose sneezing and not eating off the shelf kitten food and was loosing weight. Dr Bussey her 4 year vet in training and technician diagnosed her problems immediately. Their prices are higher than other vet offices but if you love your furbaby like I do its worth it
This was our first visit here and let me tell you how impressed I was. Dr. H was amazing! She was extremely thorough with my dog's examination. The staff was very nice and informative as well. Everyone was great. Dr. H diagnosed her with a rare disease for dogs that was caused by a tick bite. So I am so appreciative and so is Grammy Rose!! She actually is feeling better already today with the medication she prescribed for her eye. So a very big Thank you to Dr. H and all the staff at Best Friends Veterinarian! Definitely recommend you take your fur babies there. You wont be disappointed!‍
