This is the hole in the ground that you need! The warm water, the minerals absorbing into your body. I felt I won't lie and say brand new, but I did feel better the next day. Just love the idea of nature being used the way it should be. A must experience!!
We gave this a shot. It's different. We did swim and you can definitely feel the warmth and minerals in the water. We all did feel relaxed after the swim. They do have some chairs to use. I would imagine it could get busy so definitely bring some just in case. The employees were nice, and life guards seem to be very attentive as well. No showers! But they do have restrooms. The main buildings are in awful condition very sad. The maintenance around the property could definitely use some attention. I'm sure back in the day this place was beautiful. We may go back. I just wanted to add... If you wear silver jewelry, it will tarnish BAD. You can bring it back but it is difficult.
Wasn't super busy since it was 97 degrees out. However, the water was nice and cool compared to the heat of the day. Spent about an hour there in the afternoon. If I lived closer and not a day trip. I would go more often.
5 ladies went, and we had a lovely day. The water was a comfortable temperature. Must wear water shoes, no jewerly, bathrooms are your changing room. Lots of repair work yet to be done on original building. Very nice day for only $11. We all would go again. No restaurant. Bring your own. They do allow you to go out to eat as long as you have your wristband on. Playground: No playground equipment for chldren Restrooms: Are used as Dressing rooms. Dog-friendliness: No dogs allowed. Not sure about service animals
This place is completely trashed. The actual springs looks and feels dirty. This was surrounded by elderly Ukrainian people who had their nose up in the air. They’re under the belief that this is privately owned but funded by us tax payers. The actual building or any other part of the place is closed down. CALL THEM BEFORE HEADING OUT THERE!!!! Zero stars!!!
What a cool experience! Water is 85 degrees all the time, almost 200 feet deep, and the water replaces itself every two hours. The mineral rich water was a little stinky but not so much that it bothered me at all. We wore swim shoes and brought pool noodles and a hat which made it a perfect way to just float in the center.
It was a interesting little stop. The park buildings are under reconstruction, but they seem to have decent enough temporary facilities. The place does have a smell, we aren’t acquainted with mineral springs so that was different. The current configuration does not have a lot of shade, bring sun protection.
Just looking the place and is nice to enjoy with your family. I think that they need to repair the old building and some stuff around... Dog-friendliness: Only Service Dogs
Amazing place highly recommend to visit. Very nice people to chat while cruising along the lake. They still fixing a lot of structures that was ruined by the hurricane in Sept 2022 but overall it’s in good shape. God bless Florida
While the sulfur smell was a bit strong, the water was clear and warm... Algie in the water made me alil uneasy with a five year that doesn't keep his mouth close. But he did have a good time trying to catch all the baby fish .All in all, it was a fun visit once you get past smell. Restrooms: They were kept clean.
