I went to the ER with chest and abdominal pain Went right in starting doing tests right away. Had to stay, in reality I had a huge gold-bladder stone in which they needed to operate. All the doctors but especially the nurses were very kind and attentive. No matter who I dealt with from all the people who administrated the tests to the doctors to the nurses to the food and even the janitorial staff, they were always very friendly and accommodating They are truly amazing.
I went to the ER with a pretty bad cut on my palm and thumb from working in a kitchen. I was seen almost immediately and the nurse and Dr. Were amazing. I don't do well in hospitals or at the doctors in general...very bad anxiety just being there. I wish I remembered my nurses name because she was so sweet and comforting. Dr chambers was absolutely fantastic as well. Calming and did an outstanding job stitching me up. Overall really great experience.
I had the unfortunate experience of having to go to the emergency room last year. I have metal plates underneath the bone of my jaw that became infected and I couldn't get into the oral surgeon until Monday, this was Friday. The left side of my face was completely swollen and I was an agonizing pain to the point of being in tears. The ER doctor came in and said I will give you antibiotics but we don't treat dental pain and made me feel like a drug addict trying to score pills. I was completely insulted and so upset I walked out crying and still in pain. Unless I am on my deathbed, I will never return to this hospital again. I would rather be sick or in pain than to be treated that way ever again, by any hospital!
I walked into the ER with what I thought was just a worsening flu joking to my fiancé that I didn't know if I needed to really be there. The reception was great at the ER Waiting Room, and the wait was like 10 minutes or less to be seen. Mind you this was around midnight on a Friday night. As soon as I got into the ER, they took my vitals & my blood oxygen level was seriously low. From then on I was being attended by nurses, doctors, NPs in the waiting room. They took chest X-Rays & a CT Scan and confirmed I had pneumonia in both of my lungs. Naturally they wanted to admit me to the hospital. The ER's nursing staff was incredible at keeping me calm in a frightening situation, the patient care advocates in the ER are amazing, the nursing assistants are incredible. I felt very comfortable with the care I was receiving, and never once did I feel judged, or uncomfortable. When I was admitted, they sent me to the ICU because they had beds. The doctors, nurses, NPs, patient care assistants, PAs, respiratory techs, CNA's were all extremely attentive, comforting, and sweet. The next night, I was moved upstairs to another unit, and I couldn't believe the level of care was even better in the second unit. I am really grateful for the care of Dr. Nekoranik. He had extensive tests ran to determine the causes of my pneumonia, and didn't stop until they found the exact virus & the exact bacterial infections I was dealing with. I was so impressed that he even had them run allergy tests on me to also determine/ weed out if allergies were playing a larger role with the pneumonia. The respiratory team actually got my stubborn self comfortable using a CPAP machine, which up until my hospital stay I had never been able to stay compliant. They were great and worked with me to find a mask I could actually stand. I have never felt better taken care of, and more comfortable in a situation like that. All the details were taken care of, even the food staff were beyond helpful with their suggestions and help. I was so touched and taken aback by the level of care I received that after my stay, I made sure to change all my doctors to practices affiliated with St. Luke's Warren Campus. I can't thank this hospital enough for helping me through a rough bought of double pneumonia. Even after I was home, I received a get well card from the nurses on the unit I was in. Again, it's the details and the patient experience that really makes St. Luke's special. I never want to have to go back to the hospital, but I know if I ever need to, I can trust in St. Luke's Warren Campus to be there for me. Thank you again St. Luke's!
I went to the st Luke’s Warren campus because I had horrible pains in my stomach. I went to the hospital, mind you the emergency room was EMPTY. We sat there for at least an hour and a half, NEVER got taken back. I was in so much pain I rather just go home and deal with it then going somewhere that won’t help me. When we left, the nurse at the front asked if I wanted her to talk to the head nurse, but for how long I was sitting there, and how much pain I was in, why couldn’t she go talk to the head nurse herself? WHY did I need to ASK. This is YOUR job. So I left, going to a different hospital today. Never going back there.
I was recently admitted to the ER. The nurses and care team that I had was amazing!! Nurses Pink, Ramon and Joe really stand out as they were always there when I needed help, when I needed anything, while always displaying a positive and delightful attitude. They made my extended stay enjoyable, in spite of the circumstances I was there for I'm so grateful for everyone that was involved in my care. God bless all of them
Hospital staff was friendly, understanding and efficient. Dr. Yanushefski was fantastic. He did an amazing job explaining to my autistic son what would be happening and he was fast and gentle. The nurse, Jon, was also very patient and understanding. He was extremely helpful to myself and very sweet to my son. They both were willing to answer and explain any questions I had. The lady at intake was also very patient and understanding even though I was highly upset and a little snippy. I did apologize afterwards She was a gem. ER waiting room was clean and just about empty. We were in and out in less than 2 hours. My sons stitches were removed today and he's healing great. I definitely recommend the ER at St. Luke's. I can't thank them enough.
I have been here since Sunday due to a leg infection. Every single doctor, nurse, assistant, cna, housekeeping, and kitchen staff have been absolutely wonderful to me. The care has been phenomenal and I want to thank you all for your service and hard work! I get to go home! Thank you!
Had dexa scan. The staff very nice. However. It is now close to a month. NO ONE has given me results. Of course I read it on my chart. But we pay doctors for this!! I can’t wait to leave this area and get away from St Luke’s. They really don’t care about anything except your dollars.
St Lukes Warren is literally right down the street from our house. A couple months ago, my husband was having severe pain in his side. He had just had a hip replacement so we were fearing the worst. We arrived at the ER and there was nobody to check us in. We stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come out, and my husband was in agony. We left and went to LV which was 15 minutes from our house and received immediate attention. Again, last night 3/23/23, we took our daughter who was having severe throat pain to St Lukes Warren ER, and the receptionist took 5 minutes to acknowledge us, then she told us to wait while she “Used the lew”. She made us wait until she used the bathroom before asking why we were there. Once checked in, we waited another 20-30minutes in an empty ER waiting room before we decide to leave and head to LV where we were promptly assisted. When our daughter was a baby and had RSV we had gone there and had to wait a very long time to be seen and waited hours before being treated and released. That Warren campus ER is not being managed right, take some lessons from LV. We will not be ever going there again.
