I called around to several animal hospitals to get a same day appointment for my dog who was experiencing rectal bleeding. I was unable to get anybody to see him the same day, except for this facility. From the minute I walked in with my dog, to the minute I left, every staff member that I had interactions with were amazing. They were all professional, understanding, pleasant, and overall very welcoming. The doctor was very patient when explaining everything that was going on and gave me many options to decide what I thought would be best for my dog. I would highly recommend Warwick Animal Hospital, and would return without hesitation. THANK YOU LADIES!!
Warwick Animal Hospital was our vet for both our cat and dog. When it was time to say goodbye to our dog, the staff did an amazing job making the process comfortable for our dog, but they also took care of us. We felt the team understood the pain we were going through and made the terrible situation bearable. Thank you for being so caring when we needed support and comfort.
Over the past 20+ years we have taken out pets here. Everyone has always been great to work with and have total commitment and dedication to the well being of your pet. They are so full of compassion
I had called around to several vet clinics for an emergency same day appointment for my cat, this was the only clinic that was so welcoming and made the appointment the same day, also the receptionist had great customer service skills. Reading some of the comments below, yes there was a 150$ same day emergency appointment fee, but if you think about a trip to the hospital with your child could cost thousands of dollars I feel the fee is justified and would have paid more if asked. The vet and the vet tech were so lovely handling my animal, asking lots of questions about his habits, personality, and home life, I was actually quite shocked how I put up with my last vet whom I had gone to for 8 years. I had a great experience at this vet, I switched both of my animals records over and am looking forward to the next visit when needed.
Amanda and her staff went above and beyond for our fur baby Titan. Titan got sick really sudden really fast and Amanda was completely upfront and honest with me during our whole experience, she made me extremely comfortable and her staff as well as her comforted my family when making the difficult choice to put our dog down. They gave us as much time as we needed with our boy in our private room until we were ready and allowed us to stay for as long as we needed to after. They are extremely compassionate and caring. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff to be around during as difficult time.
I have not actually been to this facility, however, I was just calling around frantically trying to find an animal hospital to bring my dog to immediately because I just found a full tick stuck on her. I don’t know what to do or what could happen to her and I just love her so so much so I was really in a panic maybe some underlying anxiety issues too huh lol. Anyway, everywhere I was calling was just saying they weren’t accept new patients; if they answered the phone. I am SO grateful Melissa answered the phone here at Warwick Animal Hospital. She actually just gave me a bunch of information about ticks the possibilities, probabilities so I was able to make an informed decision on what to do for my dog with Melissa’s information. She REALLY calmed me down so I was able to just help my dog and now not have to worry profusely that likely something terrible is going to happen to her. Melissa did not have to give me any of this information or answer my questions. She could’ve just told me they weren’t accepting new patients or schedule me for a seemingly unnecessary emergency visit which would be expensive. Instead she just chose to do the right thing and just provide the information that she knows from her profession and experience to me since I do not have the experience and do not know, and I believe I was able to resolve the situation much more simpler than I anticipated only thanks to Melissa’s help. I can not tell you how much this means to me, as my dog is my baby, my best friend, my life companion being a woman in my mid 30s, single with no children. Quite frankly, she means more to me than anything in the world, as I’m sure many people can relate to. What an incredible representation of the amount of caring provided at this facility, which is really what we need when we’re looking for help for our most prized possession. Melissa, I sincerely can not thank you enough. I hope this good karma finds it’s way back to you in a time of need for you and I’m also going to do my best to pay it forward for someone in need that I have knowledge and experience with, as you did for me. God bless you.
Why is nobody talking about the fact that you can either make an urgent care appointment or you need to wait a month and a half for an appointment? So if your pet is sick, you need to pay $150 dollars to see them now instead of $75..and you can't make an appointment..you just have to call in the morning and HOPE your pet can be seen. I actually like the doctors here, love the location its around the block from my house but I don't believe in a business plan that is based on monetary gain alone and not the health and well being of pets that have been going there their entire lives. Take your pets elsewhere to a vet that actually acts like they care about animals. I have an elderly dog with heart disease and unfortunately I am not willing to gamble his life and livelihood for their money grab. It's a shame.
I love WAH. This is my fourth dog and we always go here. But this day was quite frustrating. I’m still not allowed inside. I must call from my car and immediately get put on hold. Long story short: I was stopping to pick up medicine and to schedule an appointment for 2 shots. Start to finish, just over an hour. Like many places, they are probably short handed. But I’m just telling it as it was that afternoon. Not pleasant.
Doctor Casto is great examining my two cats. Problem is my eighteen year old needs multi year medication and every time compound center requires justification animal facility acts as though new experience. This should be an automatic non-stop refill for old cat Update. Dr. Castro bypassed what she said was new employee issues by notifying the compound center that medication is continuous till cat dies. Don't know why this good doctor will allow incompetent employees to impact her facility.
They were VERY supportive with my dog, who was very worked up that day. Dr. Echt was excellent. He suggested a couple of OTC remedies that worked VERY well! What I really appreciate is that he did that, instead of forcing us to pay large fees for something they have there!
