Wash Time Coin Laundry, in the Sunrise Square Shopping Center in North Palm Springs, is one of the largest laundromats in the area. The store front faces Vista Chino and the laundromat is tucked away in a corner of the shopping center. It’s well maintained and clean, has an ATM machine and several change machines, with an ample number of washing machines and dryers, an attendant, and lots of counter space adjacent to the dryers to fold your laundry. If you’re looking for a coin laundry in Palm Springs, I recommend it highly.
Great experience! Super clean and fairly cool indoors which is a HUGE plus with the summer heat. Plenty of machines that were frequently getting a wipe down. Bonus: the friendly people that came through to do their laundry. All around good vibes!
This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been to. The hours of operation are convenient for early risers or night do-ers. No matter how busy it gets, you always find a washer available. The attendants are very helpful, friendly and are always maintaining the machines to make sure everyone's laundry is done smoothly. During the scorching hot season, they run several fan blowers to blow out the hot air, which makes it comfortable and tolerable.
It's an ok laundry. They changed drier cost it was 7 min for 25¢ now it's 5 minutes for 25¢ . Seems there is no a/c and the vents look black and moldy. Washers smell. All after new owners.
Have been twice to launder large bedspreads. Was crowded both times but there were open machines easily found. 4 change machines, and the store was clean. Plenty of parking. Not a lot of seating for waiting, but quick machines. Long hours means you should be able to find convenient times to get laundry done.
Lots of different washers to choose from. Not too busy on a Friday am. Small washers $2.75, large $4.50 and XL $5.50. Clean. Attendant was always cleaning!
This place is always clean and the staff are always friendly. A little on the pricy side for the big machines. Only complaint is that most the change machines are not working and $7.50 in quarters per load That’s a lot quarters.
I went into the laundromat to do a lot of laundry and the worker inside was extremely rude she said out loud when I had could not get changed from missing that I was stupid. In front of everyone I have pictures of the lady so that you could know who she looks like and how rude she was to me please understand I would not send anyone to this place because that is a not safe location for anyone in that position please owner please understand that I would like you to see and understand that these people are extremely rude she did not even that and I when I asked her if there was any number I could call for the laundry fold.
I like this laundromat. Everyone is always very nice there and I like that it stays open later. However, the last time I washed my clothes all came out with a limescale waxy residue. It damaged almost all my clothes. I had to restore at home washing with vinegar, borax and boiling hot water in my bathtub. Which is a shame because the prices went up and last time I had to spend $80 just to wash, only for my uniforms and kid’s clothes to be destroyed. I used to only have to spend $40-$60 at most to wash. All my whites have turned gray and yellow. I do not use bleach. Luckily I know how to restore clothes otherwise I would be screwed out of $80 and my whole wardrobe and towels. I do still feel screwed out of my $80 though. Limescale build up is due to fabric softener and/or laundry soap build up in laundry machines, plus not proper rinse drainage cycle, and machines not being cleaned. While yes this laundromat looks clean and the people are nice I’m currently stripping my clothes of everyone else’s funk and fabric softener, and I don’t use fabric softener to wash. A simple vinegar wash in hot water with no clothes every night could cure their limescale build up in the washers. I won’t be returning to waste my money, especially in inflation, if this is what will happen. I’d rather hand wash and gave fresh clean clothes with no one else’s residue or build up on my clothes.
Haven't been to a laundromat in 60 years? The lady there was very helpful machines. Are fantastic brand new look like?
