The Law Library serves attorneys, litigants, and others who need or want to research the law and is open to the public. We cannot provide legal advice.
The DeMar Batchelor Law Library serves many people: pro se litigants, attorneys, judges, elected officials, state, local and federal government employees, legal researchers and writers, reporters, and students of all ages.
The Law Library's collection includes Oregon and federal online and print legal research materials, but is for research only and reference materials may not be checked out.
* Law Library staff members can assist you by directing you to legal research resources and showing you how to use indexes, digests, and other legal research tools.
* Law Library staff members cannot do your research for you.
* Law Library staff members cannot assess or analyze your legal situation or issue and do not know which laws apply. Only your attorney can advise you on your legal options.
In addition to print an online legal resources, we offer a conference room, WiFi, public computers with Lexis Advance and Westlaw Next, and copiers/scanners, as well as Notary services by appointment.
