Water Mine
"This family water park captures the excitement of the Old West's Gold Rush with attractions tailored for all ages. The Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole offers more than an acre of slides, flumes, sprays, showers, floatables, and an interactive water playground. Careen off covered wagons, float on wild animals and dash through showers tipped from water-filled ore carts. The activity pool is encircled by Rattlesnake River, a 725 foot lazy river you can enjoy a relaxing float as the current gently nudges you along. The centerpiece is Pete's Peak, a craggy mountain dotted with boarded up mine shafts and tunnels. Several slides of various size and intensity jut from the mountain, giving a variety of thrills you'll return to again and again."

Very busy but water mine was very fun, though it seemed like a lot of people that worked there were very new and still learning the ropes. We struggled with finding the EXIT which are in the bathrooms. Personally, I feel like that should’ve been posted clearer or maybe we missed it. Otherwise, the place has fun for all ages it seems. There’s slides, and water play for the younger kiddos. My personal favorite is the lazy river. The only caveat to that is there seems to be limited amount of floatation tubes for folks so there’s always a kid somewhere nearby in need or struggling to stay inside of theirs. The food is reasonably priced.
Great local place for taking family to the pool with a theme park feel. They limit the number of people in the park so highly recommend getting passes ahead of time. They do have quarter operated lockers for small items. They do have showers, but no curtains in the restroom. They do have changing rooms with doors. About every hour they close the pools to give people breaks and help children go use the restroom rather than in the pool. This break is 10 min long. The only thing open is the big water slide. There are a few choices for food on site such as pizza and funnel cake. You can bring your own food. You can also bring towels and sit on the lawn as well. Overall it was a great experience and would go again.
I had a wonderful experience at the Watermine swimming hole, which is a fantastic spot for family fun. We celebrated our daughter's 4th birthday there and rented Shoofly B. We paid for the shelter and took advantage of the group rate of $13 for guests over 2 years old. It was great that we could bring our own food, non-alcoholic drinks, and decorations. The place offers something for everyone, with a lazy river, water slides, spray fountains, and spray pads. The staff was incredibly helpful, and I appreciated the presence of numerous lifeguards and a first aid station equipped with bandaids and incident report forms. The only area that could use improvement is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, as they serve as the entrance to the water park. Additionally, I suggest securing some form of shelter if you plan to have guests so that you have a guaranteed space outside of the water. All of our guests had an amazing time, and I even recommended it to a mother of a middle schooler who visited with her son and his friend—they loved it too!
This was the first time we went here and it was really enjoyable for the whole family! We bought tickets ahead of time and waited in line for wristbands. More than 10 minutes, maybe 15 total. We were able to get 7 chairs under an umbrella easily! The lazy river was very well patrolled by lifeguards. I even watched a test where they threw in a doll and watched the lifeguard save it. The slides were good for all ages, the little ones for my daughter and then big ones for my son. Even the food was enjoyable. The pizza from the food truck was some of the best we've had! Be sure to buy tickets ahead of time so you don't wait in the long line and wait for people to come out before you can get in due to capacity. Also, tubes for the lazy river are a hot commodity so you might have to wait a bit before you get one. Otherwise, a great place, very clean, and attentive lifeguards!
Fun area will keep kids entertained. You are allowed to bring your own drinks and food in a cooler. I suggest also bringing your own seating with tent or umbrella space does fill up quickly. We waited in line about 45mins so I do suggest to purchase tickets in advance if you do not want to wait in long line under the sun. Definitely would return to location!
It was fun for a hot day. The tickets are not too expensive and you can bring your own food and drinks inside. It is a typical water park, nothing too exciting but fun for the kiddos. I do recommend buying tickets in advance because there is a long line if buy when you get there.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
Great water park. Definitely buy your tickets in advance and come right at 11 AM.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
We visited here on a sunday and as expected it was Too crowded. Park opens at 11 am however people starts forming a line at 10 am. We purchased tickets online but if you purchase it at the door, you can get in earlier and the fee is the same :. My son is 47 inches however they insisted he is 48 so I had to pay extra for him. But inside the park they measured again and he was 47 and he could use some sliders because he is short enough : We could not find a spot on designated areas so created our own spot at the upper side. Amenities, park itself are good. Kids loved it. I am sure weekdays are better
I need to start off with the customer service I received from Jade, not once, not twice... but all 3 times I called, and the 4 emails I sent. She was very helpful, friendly, understanding, and helped me pick the right spot on the right day! THANK YOU JADE!!! The park is amazing, and made for kids. A lazy river, yep they got that! Water slides.. they have big ones for the brave ones and 3 maybe 4 smaller ones as well. Parts of the water are like a beach and have a slope so you can move in at your pace. Volleyball, water falls, and an obstacle course Plenty of spaces to set up your space for the day, lawn chairs, tables and a grassy area are 1st come and available for no extra cost. The food trucks are there if you didn't pack a cooler. The restrooms/ changing rooms-they have 2 options on both sides of the park and they are clean and ready! The playground area is amazing, and perfect for the littles just getting used to the pool, almost every part of it has water features to play with. Do yourself a favor-get a season pass, treat yourself and the family to a cabana or reserve a spot for day-you get your own tubes for the river and a spot just for you and yours-worth every penny.
We really loved it, especially my daughter. It's also a great place for all ages as in ALL AGES. Thou was disappointed with the ladies' wash rooms or toilets. They were verrrrry dirty compared to the capacity of people that visit the place and also the money they charge. Someone has to be hired to take care of them asap, please. Some of us drove all the way from Maryland to enjoy ourselves. Anyways, I did recommend or spread the word, a lot of people who are visiting tomorrow. My sister is coming with her co workers with their kids. I will definitely go back and back until summer is done.
