Water Street Cafe, Laconia NH

So nice, we dined here not twice but thrice! We never had to wait for a table. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was the best we had dining in the area. Ciara our waitress is an absolute credit to Water St. She was warm, welcoming, and extremely attentive. For a hot summer day, to keep our glasses of water full spoke volumes of her service. The orange cranberry french toast was delicious and the Monte Cristo is well worth the hype!

Water Street Cafe has a lively atmosphere, wonderful attentive staff, and amazing food! My order was the special, Prime Rib medium rare with a side of two eggs over easy and a side of loaded home fries smothered in hollandaise sauce, and an additional side order of smashbrowns. Needless to say, everything was out of this world and made perfectly to order! Highly recommend for anyone passing through Laconia, NH!

Very nice and good food, would have been nice if server would have checked on us

This place is a hidden gem! The wait time wasn't that long about 15 minutes to be seated. It was a longer wait time for the food but it was well worth it. The place was packed but the waitstaff are very pleasant and attentive. There are so many options available I didn't know where begin. My boyfriend got the pulled pork omelet and it was amazing. I got blueberry pancakes and I could only eat one they were enormous but absolutely delicious. This will be our new favorite place to go whenever we visit the area.

The food was amazing, but it was way too expensive. We spent almost $80 to get breakfast for 3 people. We will not be going back, specifically for this reason. For the same meals at another place, we barely spend over $30. Again, food was great, server was attentive for the most part, it was clean and the staff was friendly. We did wait almost an hour for our food as well while we saw 2 cooks chatting with customers at the table next to us.

Went on Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. The food was definitely worth the wait, but it did take a long time. Seated quickly enough, but took about 40 minutes to get our food. Assuming things go quicker when it is not a holiday....so I would recommend trying it.Recommended dishesHome Fries

Last time I had breakfast here with my husband and daughter my food was cold. For three people it was 70.00. The waitress was great.....the first time my breakfast was perfect. Food was excellent. Guess it's hot or miss...Food: 3/5

What a find!! So glad we stopped! Everything was excellent. Service excellent from Ciara and the food was awesome! I would say we would be back…but we are visiting from Florida! Try the cheesy smashed potatoes for breakfast! I had a Haddock Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries!

Last time in food wasn't the greatest, but this time it was the best. I like to give places a couple of try because with places being under staff, you could have hit it at a bad time. The staff was great the food yummy and even put an order in for their meat pie for Thanksgiving.Food: 5/5

I don't understand all the negative comments on here. The breakfast we ordered was absolutely delicious. We waited about 35 mins to receive it but the place was busy and you can tell they make things from scratch which will take more time than food left to die in a steam table. Only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the drinks and our server was great but could have been a little more attentive. We'll definitely be back!
