My niece and nephew both love coming here to play with other neighborhood kids. The playground is sturdy and fun, though a little worn and broken in places, but still safe. Let's say it's been well loved for several years and let's cross our fingers that Milwaukie finds the funds to get it refurbished sooner than later. Family friendly, but no restrooms. The water tower itself is pretty impressive, too.
I've lived near this area since I was young enough to play here. I brought my nieces and nephews here when I was older. I've been here with my grand nieces and nephews. It's really the neighborhood that brings this park alive. Good folks who look out for one another. Playground: I remember scaring the hell out of my parents jumping from the tallest portions of the playground. Perfect height for a gymnastics amateur to practice rolls. Dog-friendliness: I've seen dogs here. Never heard of an attack or serious issue with dogs. Picnic area: The grassy areas are slanted which is actually kind of cool. I remember challenging my buddies who could roll down them the quickest.
The park is great for kiddos they have two play structures one for little kids 3 an under an the other structure is for a touch older children. 4 an above. They have plenty of grass for children to run in as well as a half court basketball court.
It's a fun park for kids. I like that it has a smaller size playground for the smaller kids. There are picnic tables. And walking around the water tower is cool! There's a basketball court. Overall it's a good park!
It's a nice neighborhood park with a play area for kids and shade. For those who play Pokemon Go there is a gym.
Cute park, low traffic, something for everyone in my family. The water tower looming over us all the entire time and a sense of wonder and amazement at how small we are on this big blue planet. Playground, picnic tables, lots of green lawn for longing and running around to play, and even a tiny basketball court.
Fun little park! We appreciate the picnic tables and the huge Water Tower was a huge hit for the kids! There was lots of grassy area and even a local neighborhood kitty that wandered around with the kids for pets! :
Nice park I came here with my kids for first time but i saw couple kids felling down when they come running from the hill
Water Tower Park in North Milwaukie is a cool little gem of a place. It's far from being the best park in the city it's definite NOT, but it's a very cool use for what might have just been wasted space under a water tower. Actually, the water tower gives it a cool vibe and it creates nice shade in the summer. The water tower is also an easy beacon you can follow as you're walking to the park. I have a two-year-old, so this review should be read with that in mind. One great aspect of this park is that there are two play areas. One for "big kids" and another for "little kids". Our daughter loved the toddler swings, but now she loves checking out the big kid stuff, too. While we don't use it, the park also has a single-hoop basketball court. Like other reviewers, I also wish the city would have invested in a public restroom here. One time, we happened upon a brass band giving a concert right under the water tower, and that was very cool. Last, but not least, there's a kitty that frequents the park and I think that's my kiddo's absolutely favorite thing about coming here. I can't really give the park any credit for it, but the kitty likes it there, so hooray!
Great little neighborhood park. There's a younger child playground and an older playground, swings, a basketball hoop, and a small hill under the water tower.
