I rented from this location for a little over a year and a half, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. First off, the family that owns this location are extremely kind and you can tell they care not only about their property, but about their residents. Their attitude towards me did not change in the slightest once I made clear my intention to terminate my lease and move out. In fact, I stupidly forgot to change my address on a few deliveries, and the staff went out of their way to contact the resident that now occupied my old unit to get the package to us. They went above and beyond, even for someone that is no longer generating "revenue." During my rental period, I had about half a dozen maintenance requests for various small to medium size issues. Every single one was fixed within 24 hours, including one made on the weekend after the maintenance staff had already gone home for the day. The property also has weekly pest control, which is a huge plus. Anytime we had the slightest problem with pests, such as wasps trying to nest in our outside light, it would be taken care of promptly, and they also offered spraying of the inside of the unit for pests anytime we felt it was necessary. When it came to vacating the unit, more of my damage deposit was returned than expected. The only charges were for things that were completely expected such as replacing drip pans on the stove, replacing a cracked toilet seat, and the carpet cleaning fee which is included in the lease agreement. I definitely had a few other items that a stingy landlord could have charged me for, such as a stain in the carpet that probably required more than a single professional cleaning pass as well as some items that were not cleaned thoroughly before vacating, but I was not charged for any of them. Rent was increased for new residents during my stay, but they did not raise our rent when that occurred, which would definitely not have happened from a corporate rental. For these reasons, I would definitely recommend Waterford Village if you need a rental in the area. I doubt you will find any better.
We moved in roughly august of last year. This place has been absolutely amazing. They are very ontop of their Matinince and genuinely care about the residents here. They will go above and beyond to help you in anyway they can. The apartments themselves are the best in town, and we love the fireplace! Any complaint or work we need done they always handle it next business day. Just wanted to say you guys rock n we love it here! Thanks for all that you do!
I moved in to Waterford Village in July 2018, and most everything about the complex has been a good choice. The area is quiet, the apartments are pretty nice and spacious, and the office staff has been friendly and helpful when I've interacted with them. I definitely recommend it to anyone moving into the area with no other knowledge of where to live. Only issues so far have been minor problems with the appliances which is to be expected in a ~10 year old apartment. I'd recommend to the office to get the dumpsters emptied more frequently, as some people in the complex will just throw trash bags next to the dumpsters when the get 3/4 full, and I'd love if there was a recycling area here.
I lived at Waterford for two years while attending Marshall's physical therapy program and it was a great experience. The staff was helpful, the area was safe, and great amenities to enjoy washer and dryer in unit, good size pool, and 24/7 gym. The complex is just down the street from grocery stores and restaurants. A downside is the amount of money that is taken out of the security deposit at move-out as not only myself, but other students have remarked on not getting their full security deposit even after elaborate cleaning.
We rented faithfully from Waterford Village for 22 months living in two different apartments in that time frame, always paying rent on time. In that 22 months time, landscaping was never done, basketball courts were never matienced, playground equipment was so far gone it was dangerous for children to be on it, there was never gas in the grills, the grills were always filthy, we had to take our own sanitizing wipes to the workout facilities because they never provided them. All of these things are amenities that they proudly boast as a reason to live there. In the winter they couldn’t spend the money to pay actual snow plows to clear the snow, they hire individuals on four wheelers, keeping our young children up all night. Parking is slim to none because of them not having control over overnight guests. When it was time for us to move out, expecting back our security deposit, instead receiving a bill for a combined 29 hours of labor and a $50 charge because we replaced the drip pans with “the wrong type”. In the end they insulted us by saying that they did us a favor while my husband was deployed and we made up Military orders to break the remainder of our lease. Overall, not a great experience.
Great place to live. Staff always sends someone right away if there are any issues. Grounds and facilities are kept in great shape. Modern apartments with newer appliances.
These are relatively new apartments, well maintained and has free parking and paid garages, pool, kids play area and club house. The management is very cooperative and friendly. I love this place.
Worst place ever, terrible neighbors, poor accommodations , and constant false accusations. I had numerous occasions where I had needed assistance and no one was there to help. I do not recommend anyone to move here, unless you like a poor living environment . 1 star
This place is probably one of the better ones but is very expensive. Very rude front office staff mainly the owners daughter Tristan. I wouldn’t recommend this place just for these two reasons because you will have to deal with the staff often. I’m sure there are better places to stay temporarily
I lived here for 2 years. Great sized apartments, clean and very good maintenance staff. Loved living here
