Watertown Regional Medical Center - Emergency Department

So today I brought my 9 year old who has a history of bad asthma into the emergency room and was told it was going to be a wait. I kid you not, but 15 minutes went by one elderly couple came in she got to in before my son. Which made me upset but we sat there just waiting… another 25 mins go past and a elder woman with a nose bleed walks in. She says it’s not urgent and sits down. 6 more minutes later they come out for her. I ask how come my son isn’t being seen, the nurse responds was the ER goes by who’s is more serious. Remind you my son has been using his inhaler all day and it’s got worse, which is why we came in. My son has had Covid, influenza a and B and pneumonia twice in his lungs in the past 2 in a half years. Which is on record at this hospital, how can you fix your mouth to tell Me a nose bleed is more important. I will never go to the hospital ever again! And anybody with children I think you may want to rethink your decision on bringing them there.

I had a very wonderful experience those couple of hours. With those great and God sent nurses and the doctor. These three deserves a raised because they have all the qualities of healthcare professionals. Words can't express how much grateful I'm for how you all took care of me. Thank you all Marie Ayuk.

He was extremely nice and made me feel better about myself. He helped calm me down while I was panicking. He talked me through everything that was going on and what he was going to do to help my situation. The ER was extremely busy but he still took his time and didn't rush. I would recommend him and the nurses to others.

Went to ER for excessive vomiting and throat pain. PA ordered Valium knowing I had alcohol in my system but RN would not give it to me. Then she went back to PA and told her not to give it to me. No IV antiemetic. Just Malox

I highly recommend the Emergency Room at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Every time my family has needed emergency medical care they been outstanding. The nurses, the doctors, everyone, even the person that checks you in when you arrive, are very professional. They provide the best care even at the busiest times.

Went in because a nurse advised me to go. The wait was fine considering there was an ambulance bringing someone in at the time. The Dr. Was horrible. Made me feel very uncomfortable and as if my issue wasn't important. I will be seeing a Dr for a follow up because this definitely answered none of my questions. The ultrasound tech was ok and the nurses were understanding and did their jobs well.

Went here for severe abdominal pain. Mr. I wouldn't call him a doctor Rodriguez walked in, waited by the door, then walked out before I completely finished speaking. Had a CT scan. He came in after those results, told me the results & walked out before I could speak. Very unprofessional!!! Highly, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Dr. Allen in the ER was amazing. When I had to go in I was scared and he was so calming and helpful in answering all my questions. The nurses were incredible as well. Very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hospital and staff. Do not have anything bad to say at all, only positive! Thank you again to the staff at WRMC ER.

Excellent care and very kind staff. This was my first time in. I was in tons of pain and the doctor and staff were fantastic. They were very busy so it took most of the night with the testing and waiting for a diagnosis, but I believe this was because they were taking just as good care of everyone in the ER as they did of me. Very comfortable and if needed would go back. I work I in the medical field and have lots of experience. Very excellent care.
