Needed a spare key made for my Suzuki motorcycle, was having trouble finding places until I came here, gentleman working, worked diligently to help me get a spare duplicated and went out of his way to help me, thanks to you I now have a spare! And your local which is very convenient. I recommend to anyone who needs any kind of key especially motorcycle's duplicated to come here!

I wish I could give this establishment no stars. I honestly don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from. I had the worst shopping experience at this place. The two that work there are the rudest, most unhelpful people I've ever come across. When I asked them a question they both acted like I was taking time out of their busy despite the fact that there were no other customers at the time day to wait on me. They then put on a show of aggravation that I needed their "help". In addition everything in the store is ridiculously overpriced. It is true that this was at one time a great place, back when the Freeburns owned it, but it most certainly isn't that way anymore. I'll gladly go a little farther out of my way and shop at True Value in Coloma rather than giving my business to Watervliet, especially with the two that work there now.
In the middle of Watervliet, Michigan on M-140. Like an old-time hardware store in the 1950s. Very large inventory with customer service staff. I had a problem involving connection of an aluminum sheet to keep raccoons from my bird feeder. The owner personally came to my house across the street connected the aluminum sheet and we have only had one raccoon visit the day before the owner installed the sheet of aluminum. Raccoons are terribly distrubtive, especially to bird feeders and are very intelligent and are hard to keep away. It is always a pleasure to find a hard to get item within minutes that would take over a half hours at a “Lowe’s-type store and you often leave frustrated. Water Hardware is a jewel in Watervliet City.
The people are the nicest in the world. Prices aren't​ too high, but no Lowe's. The customer service and prices combined, make this Ace Hardware an excellent experience
