The Waushara County Health Department is dedicated to making Waushara County a healthy place to live, work, and play for all residents. We are a Level III health department and are accredited by the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB).

The Waushara County Health Department provides a full range of public health services to the communities it serves. Many of our services are population-based, which means we focus on improving the health of the entire community.
These services include communicable disease surveillance, prevention, and control; public health nursing programs; public health education; services to promote health; services to prevent diseases; abatement or removal of human health hazards, and services to prevent the future incidence of occupational disease, environmental disease, and human health hazard exposure.
