Wayne County Hospital

After having surgeries at top ranked hospitals like NYU and Columbia Presbyterian, I have to say Wayne County Hospital could easily show them a thing or two. Every step of my care was professionally and compassionately mastered and my room was so comfortable and sparkling clean. Every single nurse communicated well, answered questions and was encouraging. Dr. Homedan and his staff Trish have an excellent record and I can see why. IWe in South Central Iowa are sooo lucky to have this care a few minutes from home. Thank you everyone who makes it happen!

We had our son here and if we have another child this is the only hospital we will consider!

I recently had my first child here. The care you receive is outstanding!!! Dr. Wells is amazing and shows so much care for you and for baby! The nurses were such rockstars!!! They made us have such an amazing experience and they are so kind and just a ray of sunshine. I am so glad I came here to deliver my baby because she was born with jaundice and she was taken care of and is still being treated. It makes me so happy knowing she’s in good hands and that they are doing what they can to ensure I have a healthy happy baby. Can’t say good enough things! I 100% recommended delivering your baby here! OB appointments were also amazing leading up to delivery.

Dr Rojan in ob department has no bedside manner is very unprofessional and doesn't seem to know what she's doing. The first time she seen me she almost had me convinced that there was something wrong with my baby and when I seen her again just two weeks ago she told me my baby was measuring small in the 10th perctile but the following week I seen Dr Emmy she did another scan baby is perfectly fine measuring big and in the 6th perctile today visit with rojan was very unpleasant and we are not happy about it.

Great service with the birth of our daughter there! Highly recommend the OB & OR services there!

Dr. Mahan and Dr. Wells are wonderful! If we decide to have another child this is the only hospital we will consider.

Dr's Wells, Emmy an Mahan are the best , I'd give the maternity ward ward staff a 10 star rating if I could, but be careful with the ER Dr Ahmed , I brought my 5 week old baby in there with a cough an he was breathing really hard , not considering that its RSV season he said it's just a virusdidn't even do a swap, he sent us home an said to give him Tylenol ,my baby was so bad by the next day we took him to another Hospital, his oxygen level really low he was barely breathing where they said it's RSV an immidiatly life flighted him to CMH where he is still in critical condition , I can't believe my baby almost died because I was stupid enough to listen to Ahmed , even if it had been just a virus a newborn needs more then Tylenol!! A friend of ours also went there as she was having trouble breathing, he told her she's just depressed an needs to breathe differently .

The therapy department where I was seen us exceptional. Very friendly realky put you at ease. They do really good work determining what will help and developing a program to help your problem. They have really helped my problem and I would recommend d them to everyone.

Drove from Des Moines for ortho procedure. Great team, personal care. Treated my family and I very well. Worth every mile.

They have been helpful though out my pregnancy.
