Amherst Island's volunteer-run shop offers fine art and crafts from Island and area artists and artisans at affordable prices. OPEN May long weekend until Thanksgiving (Sat 10am-4pm Sun 1pm-4pm) & 7 days a week from July to Labour Day (M-F 1pm-4pm).
In 1996 a dedicated group of Amherst Island Artists and Artisans dreamed of a place to exhibit and sell their work. The dream was translated into reality and became The Weasel and Easel, a shop committed to excellence in products and service. Staffed by volunteers, the Weasel and Easel shares the heritage building with the Museum. The Weasel and Easel offers fine art and crafts from Island and area artists at affordable prices with no taxes. Take home a memory from Amherst Island or find that unique hostess, thank you, baby or birthday gift.
