The Weinhard Cafe & Bakery is a comfortable, eclectic restaurant. The restaurant has been open since the late 1990's, having moved in December 2003 to a larger, more charming location in an historic, refurbished building across the street from the restaurant’s original location.
The culinary team offers a diverse American menu with world-wide influences. They pride themselves on supporting the local economy by featuring local produce and ingredients resulting in high quality and fresh menu items. The menu changes 4-5 times a year to feature in-season produce. Creative and tasty vegetarian dishes are available and there is always a large selection of freshly made desserts in the dessert case.
Some of our local vendors include: Ruth Detwiler, TamiJoy Farms, Monteillet Fromagerie, Tucannon Meats, Donna Helsius Flowers, and Dumas Station Wines.
