WDS is an independent K-8 Jewish day school in Pasadena, CA
Weizmann Day School is a non-profit, independent, co-educational community Jewish school established in 1983. We value and emphasize kindness, inclusion, and tikkun olam (repairing the world). To that end, we welcome students and families from an array of Jewish, interfaith, and diverse backgrounds.
Weizmann is devoted to developing an engaged community with a rich set of cultural and ethical traditions in which family, community, knowledge and learning are held in the highest regard. Our goal is to instill a love and appreciation of such traditions while preparing students to achieve at the highest standards. We cultivate critical thinking by integrating the arts, science, and core academics, and emphasize experiential and project-based learning in order to engage our students in the larger community and world.
We believe that a nurturing, positive community creates the ideal conditions for intellectual and social growth. We provide students with the foundation of traditional scholarship as well as the benefits of an innovative education.

Weizmann Day School delivers an academically challenging and comprehensive education built on a foundation of Jewish traditions and values. We provide an integrated and enriched curriculum that includes the arts, science and physical activity. To promote each student's unique potential, we employ differentiated teaching strategies and provide individualized attention. We foster Jewish life and a connection to Israel through Hebrew language and Jewish culture, history and prayer. Weizmann students are members of a caring community in which they learn to ask questions, engage with others, and participate in tikkun olam -- making the world a better place.
Imagine a better world...and make it so!
