Wonderful place located so close to Orlando. Large natural spring that can accommodate lots of people but come early because it was closed around 10am due to high volume of people. Clean restrooms, wonderful hiking trails, lots and lots of canoes and kayaks to rent for 2 hours or more or even overnight for a great adventure. Water temp is a constant 72 degrees which makes cooling down wonderful after hiking a few miles on some wonderful trails. Bring your horse because there are trails for them. Great small campground that offers water and electric and all sites, some with sewer too. Lots of wildlife so be cautious of bears, gators and snakes I didn't see any for the couple of days but lots of deer.

Wekiwa Springs is a gem surrounded by urban development.  Once the turn is made into the park it feels like being transported to a place far, far away from roads and noise.  The campsites are large, making for easy access.  Most are equipped with electric, water, and sewer.  A quick survey of the site will show the best location for optimum distance of hose lengths.  The springs are within easy walking distance, but expect the springs to be busy because they are so close to a metro area.  The trails afford easy hiking and are well marked.  The numbers on the trail map correspond to pole markers along the trail.  The selfie poles with QRC codes are a nice touch.  Overall, a relaxing experience that we will repeat.

What my family did not like is that there is a very busy highway that you can hear and also see from our site 34. The bathrooms are very far away with no straight pathway to them from our side of the campground. Bathrooms are very very dirty. Only one set of trash cans for the whole campground. As a tent camper, you need trash cans often. The fire ring with grilling grate was under ground and full of ash. You are cooking at floor level and very close to the fire because the pit was full of ash.

This is a great campground. Lots of roomy sites with towering shady trees. I think all the sites have water and power, but not all have a sewer connection so just be mindful of that. Dog friendly in the camping area away from the springs. It's a decent walk or bike ride down to the springs, but totally worth it to get down there. The spring is beautiful and surprisingly didn't feel crowded at all. We enjoyed it so much we booked it again for next summer.

Great place. Nice and quiet. Great trails and springs.  Perfect spot to relax. We visited in mid Nov 22 in a Class A motorhome.  Sandy sites, full hook up, trees, shade and a firepit. We should have booked longer than 2 nights.

We loved this campground! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The sites are very spacious, well maintained and surrounded by beautiful Florida foliage, giving you a full camping experience. Most sites have water and electric and I believe some have sewer too ours did not but pump station was easily accessible on our way out. Showers and bathrooms are very clean. Great hiking trails! The swim area at the spring head is beautiful but can get crowded. Pet friendly! I didn't give it a 5 because crowds can be rude and too rowdy for our taste. Bring a bicycle!

Beautiful state park. Some sites are full hook and some are partial. There is one dump station. Sites are large if you arrive on a weekend be ready to fight traffic,  general admission into the park for swimming at the springs backs up. You need to let ranger know you're camping and you can get in and skip traffic.

You can rent this RV RVshare, Satellite Beach Fl.  Pick up or have it delivered.  Stayed a weekend at this campground which is just beautiful.  The drive in is gorgeous with live oaks and Spanish moss!  Check in was easy with friendly staff.  Our camp loop was quiet with some privacy on an end site.  The distance to the springs was a bit far, requiring either a bike or car ride.  Once at the springs there was a platform area for entry and very easy access to see the location of the spring entry. Walked over to snack/gift stand and bike/kayak rental- very convenient!  Walked a path near the spring which led to wildlife snakes!

I have RV camped here several times and had great experiences every time. Friendly staff and hassle free camping. Plentiful wildlife all around. The campsites are clean with plenty of shade. Numerous trees to put up hammocks. The springs are a popular attraction and can be quite busy but still beautiful and refreshing to swim in. Bring your kayak, canoe, or SUP and take a ride down the river. Crystal clear waters brings you to Wekiwa island another popular swim, lounging, party area. The only bad thing I can say is sometimes people can be inconsiderate with their trash. Pick up after yourselves people… but over all a awesome park to stay at!!
