Marisa is a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner who began studying Ayurveda in early 2011. Marisa has a heavy medical background with 13+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Well Balanced Healing Arts firmly believes that the services offered herein can help bridge the benefits that both Eastern and Western medicine have to offer. Her previous education at UCSD revolved heavily around the study of psychology and brain chemistry with great passion. The products that she was involved with in the medical industry varied across many disease states: psychiatry, cardiology, gastroenterology, pain management, pulmonology and infection control. Her love of science was only deepened during her studies at Kerala Ayurveda Academy.
Marisa learned that there was no one approach for everyone who suffered from the same dis-ease state or problem. YOU are UNIQUE. YOUR solutions to the issues you are facing must also be tailored to YOU and ONLY YOU. Dis-eases happen because ones natural balance has gone out of whack.
