Last year we ate here and we had our friendly 4 lbs dog with us. We where seated in the bar area which was great. Food was great Today we went with our little dog and were told we had to order at the outdoor window and stand at high top tables with no chairs on the side porch facing the parking lot. At least they could put picnic tables there. This restaurant should not be listed as PET FRIENDLY because it is not... I was looking forward to eating here.
Fun casual atmosphere. Great casual seafood shrimp tacos. But: there’s no view except maybe a little from the bar, parking is very hard to get, it’s not fine dining and more like a fun bar with good food. Remember, you share a tiny parking lot with a popular local beach. When it’s full, it’s full. Tip: come after 2 PM on a week day. Swimmers and lunch diners start to leave.
The location of this bar is breathtaking. From the actual bar, you won’t see this view but it is about 100 feet from the edge. Went with a group of friends for dinner. Parking is $30 but they give you a voucher that you may use towards your dinner/ tab. Figure they do this so it does not congest the parking lot because it is very limited. Tuna was fantastic. Friends had the lobster and said that it was an 11/10. They close for an hour, and reopen for the bar scene. We decided not to stay because they did have a cover, but it looked like it was packed as we were leaving. Seemed like it would’ve been a great time, but just nothing surrounding this area. Nearby activities: None
While getting to the restaurant was challenging the food was great. I had to park up the street at the beach parking and pay $30 to park. It is a cool beach atmosphere and a very popular restaurant. My kids loved going down to the beach and saw some seal’s swimming in the water. Staff was quick and friendly. It is exactly what you picture for a beach restaurant.
You’ve heard the stories - absolutely legendary beach bar on the Cape. Get there early and be ready to wait line can get long, be ready to spend money they’re a destination and they know it, and get ready to have fun. Once your name is on the list you can enjoy drinks and food from the walk-up window. Great scene with a beach right off the front.
Definitely lived up to the hype! We stopped here for lunch on the way up to Provincetown. We arrived right before it opened, and people were already lined up to get in. We were charged $30 for parking, but then given a voucher to put that $30 towards our meal. We were seated immediately and the food came out fast. Everything was delicious - the oysters, lobster roll and fish and chips were all very tasty. It was nice to be able to sit outside and then walk over to the beach after our meal. I would highly recommend it!
Don’t go there much any more, Sunday afternoons seeing the Incredible Casuals was magic…you had to be there to understand. Having said that I remember the food was good, the view is amazing. They used to book some great bands, focused more on food and drinks now. Occasional bands, more DJ stuff, younger crowd. Still a must visit if your out that way .
Great staff except for the Manager Michelangelo who had absolutely no judgment and killed our experience. After spending a couple of hours on the outside deck with our dog and spending a few hundred dollars in food and clothing, the Manager told us that we had to leave immediately on account of us having a dog and the outdoor deck was closed. Eventhough the staff offered a last call, the Manager came around to tell us that we couldn't pursue our evening outside or have a last call because the deck was closed. He said 'if we do it for you then we have to do it for everyone else', meanwhile we were the only customers left on the deck!
Food is mid, no ventilation inside so it’s so hot and humid and obviously outrageous prices. They LITERALLY serve you with paper plates and cups and plastic forks. For being near the beach and charging so much they should AT LEAST get some real plates and cutlery. Oh, and there was a hair in my fish sandwich. So disgusting, but they were happy to make a new one at least. Please make your cooks wear hair nets. Thanks
When you arrive at the restaurant you have to pay 30$ for a voucher/parking which you can use for paying your food. Someone brought us to our table and we waited almost 20min until someone came to take our order. The food wasn’t good, easy fried and served with plastic flatware and on plastic plates. It wasn’t worth the money.
