Most beautiful park, quiet and heavenly. My dog and i start our walk at the lower park a 1/4 mile away once we take the outter pathways which wind through trees and lead to this park.
Down by the playground is kind of ghetto, but up near the horseshoe pits are nice and cozy. Maybe you can catch me there!
I wish they would hurry up and put the the rim back on the basketball courts but other then that this is a park I stay and work near everyday the workers keep the grass cut and bathroom clean with toilet paper ... Wells Park is a nice place to take the kids my four year old Love's the slides and the water pads as well as the pool.
Bathrooms are horrible. They have no doors for any kind of privacy
Not necessarily the best nor the worst: is tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Pittman, Henderson. Is a decent sized park, with a basketball court, gazebos, small skating area, pool, and lots of grass and trees. Also has a baseball field, with Hinmann Elementary being next to the park, as well as a Boys and Girls Club. Minutes away from Skyline Casino and Hotel.
Great place to take your family and have a good time. Its got a playground free water shooterspush a button and the water streams from a foam area and shoots to another area Also has a pool for cheap family rates...i think if your kids have school i.d. they get in for free....grills to make food on....filtered water fountains to drink from or fill your bottles...basketball park....volleyball net...i mean this park has it all ...
Very well maintained grass is green lost trees. Shady areas for picnics BBQs also it looks like you're getting the pool ready for summer overall I give it a 9 out of 10 oh I almost forgot tennis courts and playgrounds looking very well maintained. Peace out
In my opinion it's terrible kids fight and jumping over the gates to a Primary school yards. You will probably see a few drug deals. And the security guards are not any better. In my opinion the are just weird men. The splash pads are kinda cool. But not the pool. Every time my family goes to the pool. When we come back home our akin is always flaky and peeling off. Which makes the pool pass worthless when you go there. Although they have guards you might still see homeless people. Also disgusting bathroom no door,the floors are just nasty once a man went in there and he seed homeless and I was hanging with some kids in my area and we thought it was just so weird we also had to take the younger kids somewhere else. Also just the area in particular is sketch where there ate a lot of drug deals and stuff like that. If I could give this a 0 I would.
The park, pool,and recreation center on Missouri is so much better than the one here in Pittman. City of Henderson needs to budget for a major upgrade to this park.
