Just had a colonoscopy done. Everyone was nice and professional. My name, birth date and what I was there for was checked numerous times. Everything was explained and I was asked if I had any questions. I was a bit leery about going here because of the rating. But I have no complaints so wanted to let others know that they did an excellent job. .
Awesome first time experience with them today for my colonoscopy. All and I mean all of the staff was pleasant and very informative. I would definitely recommend them for any procedures. I never really leave reviews but they deserve it and I just wanted to say thank you.
I visited with Dr. Narahari in February 2022. Had ongoing stomach pain. He was very thorough and spent 45 minutes with me. He scheduled an endoscopy and colonoscopy but I had to wait until end of March. I called for any cancelations and the nurse did call me back. So I got in 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. Staff was very nice. Very pleased with the care I received.
I got in within two weeks and was treated very well. Very professional and compassionate staff. I was taken seriously and the physician communicated clearly and was thorough. Very comforting when you are feeling ill and worn down. Highly recommend.
We had care above and beyond all through Wellspan. Never once had a bad experience. My mother was recently diagnosed with Esophageal cancer and they have not ever let her down as far as care. She excelled in chemo and radiation and I am thankful for the staff throughout Wellspan. It was UPMC Annville, PA that kept telling my mother she had an ulcer and no testing....thank god we switched.
Unfortunately the worse medical experience I have ever had. Gave it one star because I could not give it zero. Never dealt with a practice that was more non responsive with their patients. If i had not experienced it, I would not believe the complete disregard for follow through and care for the patient’s medical needs. In addition, when I finally realized I had to find another practice that could actually provide medical care, they failed to transfer my medical records so that I can be seen elsewhere after 5 attempts. I called, faxed and did everything repeatedly so that I could receive treatment elsewhere and they did not send my records. Held me up another month. They may have good doctors but they were of no benefit to me because they’d never get back to me or call back, even in emergency situations. Ended up having to go to ER. Very unfortunate that in today’s day and age we have providers like this. Go somewhere where they care about you and your well being.
Doesn't even rate a star. Husband had colonoscopy last week that detected a 15cm cancerous mass. Dr only spent a few minutes w him after the proceedure, then nurse came in and said the earliest appointment they could get him for surgical specialist was a month away. Called a colorectal surgical team at Hershey Medical Ctr and got an appointment the very next day. Also had trouble getting all his records sent over in a timely fashion.
My husband had to wait a month for an appointment after being seen in the ER, then the doctor said he wasn't going to do anything since he didn't have symptoms at the time of his appointment. He then had 3 flare ups in less than 3 months and his PCP and ER doctors said he needed a colonoscopy and they wanted him to wait another 6 weeks for an appointment. He was able to get an earlier appointment. A few days after the colonoscopy they called to see how he was doing and he told them that he's still having the same symptoms he was having previously despite the medications they put him on and he's unable to do his job properly because of the pain. They told him the meds are just a bandaid and it's on him to work through it. My husband could definitely benefit from a healthier lifestyle, but they never gave him an official diagnosis or suggested any changes that might help him, they just sent scripts to his pharmacy and called him and told him to take the medications. Plus, they never schedule a follow-up appointment for him and of course there's nothing available any time soon.
I would give a half star if I could. Doctor seemed more bothered by me than eager to help me. Scheduling is treacherous, the appointments are non-productive and they leave you in pain offering the only excuse that they need to make appts separate for every little thing. I need an endoscopy done. I already met with the doctor. My PCP and Dr. Schade agree that's the next step. That's it and I'm still left ill-treated Only reason for the half star is for the one women in that office that tried her best to help me. Everyone else was more worried about their breaks and watching the clock until quitting time.
I will never use WellSpan anything, ever again. They can have all the people with free insurance, because that is the kind of service they offer! After we pay almost 8k a year for family medical insurance I get one test done... They got 6k of the 7k bill paid for one test! They then come after me for the 1k dollars and won't make a deal in any way. Just crazy!!! It pays to work less and get government handouts anymore, I can see why nobody wants to try and do better for themselves, as soon as you make it they are there to take it.
