Welcome to the practice of Spartanburg's own Dr. David Butts (formerly Dr. Tate.) We are a full-service preventative/restorative office for all ages.
Dr. Butts is a native of Spartanburg, SC, where he has family roots from before the American Revolution. He lives there now with his wife and their little girl. He graduated from engineering school at the University of South Carolina (2001) and Georgia Tech (2003), working in that field for several years before dental school. He received the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of dental care, his time is spent with family, assisting with church planting efforts for The Gathering in Spartanburg, hiking, or tinkering with cars.
