The West Arvada Dog Park opened on June 18th, 2005. It is a "Special Use" park - it is very much a community operated park. Donations by community members and businesses is how improvements and additions are made possible.
This park is on City of Arvada land but is NOT funded by the city. Donations are appreciated and tax deductible! Improvements and expansions are only possible by donations. There is a donation box conveniently located by Paul's bench on the hill. Our group is grateful for the community support. Please clean up after your pet! There is no official poo crew! We are thankful to the City of Arvada Parks Maintenance Department who removes trash on a weekly basis. The park is open dawn to dusk mainly because wildlife is active in the area.
