I just got scammed by a large criminal operation. I was able to catch it in time with the help of West Bank. Matt Pick at West bank with his team are the best. It pays to always stay with the local banks as the larger ones could care less. I have never ever had a person so loyal & so hard working as this man. West Bank has a devoted worker one of a kind.Thank you again Matt with your team.
I am surprised to read many negative comments posted, because after banking with West Bank for 30 years, I have nothing negative to state. The customer service has always been prompt and personal. I have occasionally been asked to show ID when making a withdrawal from a new staff member. I am not offended that this person whom I've never met has an interest in protecting my account by verifying who I am.
Google map no matter where I go directs me here to des Moines trails. There is no such road.
Don't count on them handling fraudulent charges in any way that makes sense. Lots of false promises and poor record keeping is all you can count on.
I called the Rochester branch and got transferred to the main office I asked him if I could open an account there explaining that I was from Wisconsin and not from Minnesota or Iowa.. Sure stop on up was their response.. They also told me we could apply online, after some discussion we decide to apply online .. Deciding not to drive up.. We have a 825 credit score... Their response by email they turn this down. 3 days later the accepted the money and opened the account.. stay as far away as you can from these rascals..
Don't get me wrong, I love the ease of use when it comes to Mobile Banking features, but the customer service isn't working for me anymore. Every time I go in to a branch, they treat me like they are suspicious of me when I've got nothing to hide- I work hard for my money and I should not be having difficulty receiving it, which includes getting weird looks and no conversational interests at all. I get treated like a number and it is rather unfortunate because I smile a lot and I am nice to everybody, but they think I'm bad or something. My ultimate point is that I do not feel welcome there anymore, and I work two jobs to contribute to society, so the least I can experience is being treated like a human being for once.
I used to be a mortgage consultant at Wells Fargo. We applied for a mortgage here and the guy gave us the application without taking the time to fill it out with us. I was amazed. Considering he doesn’t know that I know the process he was confident that a customer will do all the work themselves - correctly. The mortgage industry is highly regulated but I guess it’s not at this bank! He also didn’t verify the sale of my vehicle which the debt still appears on my credit report but I didn’t list on the application. I’m not sure if they just have lenient policies at this bank or if they do not properly train employees. Obviously these employees must not be getting commission because they don’t even try to close a sale. They also do not give customer service.
Hands down the worst financial institution I've worked with. Absolutely refused to work with me on any of the issues that arose during my time as a client.
I locked my keys in my car at quiktrip went across the street to ask the people that cut there grass for a phone to call someone for help and the guy said GET LOST!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!! I couldnt believe it I just ask for help and he started yelling
I've been banking here for over 25 years, I've had nothing but good experiences with this Bank, people are friendly, I've never have to wait too long, evening to talk to a banker.
