A magnificent piece of architecture with a wealth of variety in the works displayed. It is smaller but, has works from traditional oils to modern mixed media. It is always spotless and the gift shop has a nice selection at all price points. As a person who has visited more than 200 museums over the world, entry cost a bit overpriced. Great idea to cover the entrance fee by making 2 person donation discount. It is an hour long museum unless you want to dive into the details of “everything”. Overall, building has great modern architecture which fits perfectly to the city, even interior is worth to take some photos, collection is not extraordinary but exciting to see. If you are passing through, definitely worth to stop by.

Very much enjoyed visiting this museum. They host some really neat and unique special exhibits. I’ve been here a few times and each time, I’ve enjoyed the special exhibits. This most recent time featured the Tom Jones photography special exhibit which was outstanding. It made me emotional, it was that impactful. It would be great to see more native art featured on permanent display at MOWA. Went on a Saturday early afternoon and it was not too busy.

There are great works that are consistently there, but also a wonderful variety of changing exhibitions. The curators do an amazing job. The gift shop is a beautiful museum in itself. They have a very friendly staff, too.

Was blown away by the different exhibits here! The range from blown glass and fine drawings to the largest oil painting I've ever seen, with life size figures. The clothing exhibits and furniture also wonderful. I'll recommend this as a wonderful few hours for anyone!

As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" still i feel we all forget that a painting is worth an endless amount of time, moments, appreciation, and wonder. The art in this museum is the kind of art that can only be truly appreciated in person. It is a pleasure and a privilege to have the opportunity and ability to take in the beauty and creativity found throughout this museum.

Great venue! Changing exhibits. The place to see Wisconsin artist artwork. Nice display 2019 on the south wall outside the night of the downtown tree lighting.
