A really great library! 2 very large stories. The first floor is almost ALL children's books! Very helpful librarians that are always nearby for any assistance. Also, they always have activities going on for kids and also for adults!  Another little-known service this library provides: 100% FREE faxing and 10¢ copies.  Share  REPLY

Useless - tried to get my library card online that I've had for over a decade and because I've had my card for so long, there was no email on file back then.  Due to confidentiality bs, they can't add an email so I have to go in to the physical location to prove my identity. What a waste of time and existence. Defeats the purpose of being able to access ONLINE - no one is going to call in and claim they're me because they want to READ BOOKS ONLINE.

This is an excellent library, with friendly and helpful librarians. It is 2 stories, the main and smaller level is full of books for younger people, from children to teens. The second floor has all other types of books.  If you have kids to bring, there is also a area for them to play. This is an excellent library.

Some worker was being rude. I asked a worker for directions on language books and she just said “I can’t tell you because im putting books back, go ask the front desk”.  Last time I came in before covid the workers would always help w/o hesitation

My family loves our trips to the library! It's  little gem in our community! There's always something for everyone! DVDs, video games, books, magazines, audio books via overdrive. And the youth services... 1 word... AMAZING! Books for all ages, kits with puzzles and toys, and of course it's the perfect place for the kids to meet other kids and explore puzzles and other toys. The museum pass has given us so many local family outings for little to nothing. From Cantigny to Brookfield, so many local options. We love going as a family with our little one or on our days off to see what's new. As someone who works with kids for a living, I love recommending our local libraries as a place to meet up and hang out. Whether looking for something to do or wanting to find something for you, this place has it all!

Great small library.  Helpful and friendly librarians and staff; well organized floor plan and shelving; good variety of books available and easy to find in English and Spanish.  Relevant programming, with options available for virtual or in-person, registered or drop-in events. I love that the children's area is on the ground floor, and the adult and teen sections are upstairs.

People should know if they don't that while the library is open, picking up or dropping off materials is done from your car, a staff member will pick up your returns or drop off your checked out materials. You must call the library ahead of time. Computer use is by appointment only and it is for 1 hour with no extensions. Use of the copy machine and printer is also by appointment only.

The library facilities were clean and up to date.  The staff was kind and answered questions. The WiFi was abysmally slow. I brought my laptop to do a job training. It was running 1/2 mbps download and 1/5 mbps upload. There was virtually nobody in the library so either they have terrible internet or something was wrong in their network system. The staff seemed at a loss for understanding. I had to leave to a coffee shop just to get websites to load.

Been to this library many times. Nice and helpful staff. Large kids section, with some toys.  Voting usually occurs here in a side room.  This relatively new library is a great amenity to the Austin neighborhood!
