I am about to start my ninth year of using West Coast Self-Storage. When I recently encountered an emergency and some financial bumps in the road, and I couldn't pay my rent right at the beginning of the month or within the 10-day grace period because of when my paydays fell, Jasper was willing to work with me over a period of a couple months, extending me a few extra days of grace without added incurred late fees, until my next payday rolled around.  It was a few days over a couple months, but being able to pay at my next payday, without late fees, was a gracious gesture not lost on me. We kept in regular contact through the financial tough time, and I let him know the earliest I would be able to pay. When payday came, we took care of it with thanks aplenty!.  We all know that it can be hard to find decent customer service almost everywhere these days. It is refreshing to encounter a business that not only understands that sometimes bad things happen to all of us, but is willing to make important gestures to assist in those tough times. It makes me feel truly valued as a long-time customer, and is appreciated beyond words.  I am a satisfied customer; I'll be sticking with you!

This is an awesome place if you're looking to have your storage unit burglarized!  In April 2022, I had $14k+ worth of merchandise stolen from my unit. I was storing expensive bike parts for a business I was starting at this location. Thanks to West Coast Self-Storage, they made sure that I wouldn't be able to get my business started.  Even with all of the cameras installed and footage of the thieves taking my things, there was nothing that could be done except file a report with SJPD which did absolutely nothing!  The tops of the storage units on the 2nd floor are entirely exposed. So, if someone is crafty, they can walk on the beams above the storage units and look down into them to see what's available.  This event felt like an inside job, to be honest. My storage unit was neatly organized and had tons of space for walking around inside. If you look at the pictures, you can see that they threw everything around. This looked very much like they staged that! The thieves used a drill to remove the barrel lock and replaced it with another similar version.  When I was bringing my stuff into this location, I was either watched by the employees OR a tenant. The storage company said it was a tenant. if that is or was the case, why was nothing done then!!!  Not only was $14k worth of items stolen, but they also got a riffle. So, this is awesome. There's another firearm on the street!  During this situation, I will say that I was completely irritated with the site manager that had the nerve to try and give some philosophical perspective. Saying something to the effect of "maybe this is a sign of when you have too much stuff"... I'm not going to name her name, but wow, really!  Sooo folks, come on over to the indoor facility here at West Coast Self-Storage where people can have carte blanche to your belongings without any ramifications.  Another pro-tip that the site manager gave me was "make sure to cover your stuff when coming in."  I get being aware of your surroundings and taking precautions, but I came to this location because I thought it was safe to store my things.  I had no idea this was like entering a jail system where all eyes are on you soon as you bring your things in.

West Coast Self Storage is one of the best in San Jose area. The staff is efficient and friendly.  Vanessa was amazing - I advised her I needed a smaller storage space to downsize our company storage unit. She was quick - gave me options and I showed up the next day and the transfer was completed. She has a great smile that makes you feel welcomed. The storage facility is very secured and clean. Ideally they add A/C unit upstairs but other than that no complaints. Thank you WCSS & Vanessa

I have been renting storage space from West Coast Storage for several years now and the customer service experience, with the wonderful management staff @ West Coast storage on Lincoln Ave., has been excellent. Everyone there has been so attentive, helpful and communicative. Moreover, I would like to give a special honorable mention to Destiny for her superb customer service . She is so friendly, polite, cheerful and always very helpful with any inquires I have made over the years I wish that I could give more than 5 stars for my delightful customer service experience. I most highly recommend West Storage on Lincoln Avenue, San Jose for all your storage needs.

Great place for self storage. I reserved online, got a reminder/follow up call the next morning and was able to get a tour from Destiny the same day. It looks AND SMELLS clean; which is super important! And she was able to answer any questions I had for her very clearly. Very friendly staff, glad to have found this place so close to home. Will likely be renting here for a while. Thanks for the great service and safe facility!

Probably the best experience I've had with any Self-Storage service. I was helped by Destiny who was friendly, but more importantly forward and transparent with the storage units available. She took the time to show me the different sizes of units available that eventually helped me make the final decision of the unit dimensions I needed.

Of the many storage units I've used over the years, this one is the best looking and safest feeling one I've used in a while. The staff seem to keep a high standard of cleanliness and security is well maintained. The indoor parking is a great factor so there's privacy and you don't get rained on.

Amazing customer service and staff! First person I had met was Kelly and she was very friendly and made my family and I feel safe about storing our items at their site. Destiny has been great to work with as well. Both ladies always have a positive attitude and always available to answer any questions asked.. The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly.  The facility to remarkably clean and easily accessed.  Love the extended hours until 10 PM nightly.  It feels safe at night with all of the security appointments.  Cannot say enough about Jasper.  He was helpful and accommodating.
