I strolled around here early this morning while Hubby hit the Mountain Bike Trails. Lots to do and something for everyone. Biking, RC cars and planes, disc golf, fishing and walking paths. It was a quiet and very peaceful morning. Also wonderful for bird watching! Loved it.
The disc golf course is still getting it's finishing touches. Once the pads are laid and the foliage has time to come back the course will be very fun. The additional holes are a nice touch as well. Definitely bring bug spray if you are wearing shorts. Dog-friendliness: The course was dog friendly
Great outdoor experience for RC boat, car, helicopter and airplane enthusiasts. It's fun to watch even if you're not holding the controls. The MTB trails were great for many levels of experience allowing you to get a work out and improve your skills at the same time. This park was an unexpected surprise with mamy small lakes and the occasional rabbit hoping through.
This park has something for everyone to enjoy! MTB riding, RC car tracks, RC airplane club, RC helicopter club, RC boat club, Archery club, Golf frisbee, lakes to kayak and fish in and picnic areas. A family friendly adventurous place. Bring your children to ride their bikes on the trails or the access roads. Fly a kite or your drone. Have a family picnic with the available barbecue grills. It’s just a lovely place to go to get away from from city life! There are plenty of places near by like Publix, wawa, pizza places and plenty more! Bring your own garbage bag as they don’t have bins in the park. Portal potties are on site. It’s a must see park if you love the outdoors!
My go to MTB trail. Love this place. The trail crew have done an awesome job. Lots of cool features & lots of nature & wildlife out there to see. Great place to take the family!
Awesome park for RC! First time going and had a great time on the old track while there was a race going on on the newer flat track. The old track has two jumps that are janky but work, and the track needs a lot of work, but is still a lot of fun for beginner drivers. Jumpbon the side of the track is made of shell and rock and decent for bashing. Someone made a nice vert jump on it and you can get some nice air time! Fields around the track ar wide open, but not super like a soccer field. Overall awesome spot for RC in the area!
A huge park that borders the Everglades at the western end of Atlantic Avenue. They have unusually facilities for radio controlled plans, boats and cars. Also mountain bike trails and archery.
Great trail, different levels well maintained. Perfect place for beginners, intermediary and pros. Highly recommend
Located at the end of Atlantic Avenue bordering the Everglades. A huge park that really has only 3 venues. Archery, radio-controlled planes and boats.
Nice park for a picnic, bike ride, fishing or just relaxing. RC car track, RC plane and boat facilities.
