Checked in and waited about 10-15 minutes. Tech came and got me and weighed me. Walked me to a room. She then checked my blood pressure and then ran an electrocardiography on me. Asked me to sit in my chair. She told me my heart rate was 59 and then told me the doctor would be in momentarily. That was about 11:45. At 12:20 I opened my door and asked a nurse if Doctor Sen forgot me. She called him a a couple of minutes later he came in. We discussed how I felt and if I had any soreness in my chest or felt any additional palpating. I responded no. He said I was having some minor extra beat every now and again as indicated on the printout. I took a photo of it. He the told me he might run a stress test on and then mentioned a me having an ultrasound and I told him I had that done. He went to his office to verify it and came back to confirm that I did. He then suggested he set up an echocardiogram surgical procedure to check for blockage. I again reminded him that I had already done that. He went to his office to verify it and came back to confirm I was right. We talked a couple of minutes and he scheduled me for a six month checkup. He was not prepared to see me, did not review my records and was having to be told by me of the events of my case. This is not what I expect to happen with my doctor in my visit. I was not very impressed with his current knowledge which led me to believe I was forgotten about. I cannot rate this visit well at all
I had the best service From the moment I arrived to check in to the moment I left. All the staff was friendly kind and professional. Dr. Smith is great and the nurses provided so much information for me to use. I was so impressed that I changed my PCM and found a PCM with HCA.
Short wait for MA to take vital signs, EKG. Short wait for MD. Doctor was friendly, performed extensive exam. Read EKG, explained her findings in detail, discussed plans. Visits over past 16 years - similar positive experiences.
Dr Sen is a very caring physician. He listens well and it felt like he is on my team and concerned for my best health. He has a warm and positive personality.
Update 9/2022: I will say that I was seen by the physician the last few appointments and he has been excellent! He has listened to all my concerns and was very through with my testing to find out what was wrong and the appropriate treatment plan. I am very happy with my cardiologist there and the staff. Original: I feel like because I am a younger woman than they are used to seeing, I was completely disregarded and basically told I'm young without hearing my concerns. My test were ordered after I repeated that this isn't normal for me. I cannot switch doctor's right now due to nowhere else having openings, but I will definitely not recommend anyone under the age of 50 to go there wanting to be listened to about their concerns of their own well being.
I saw Dr Woodard for the first time yesterday. I'd seen several other Doctors there , but he is my favorite hands down.. He was so good to take the time to explain everything to me , I never felt rushed , he actually listened to me which I'm not finding that much these days from Doctors . It was nice to be treated like a real person and not just a number ..... His entire staff is always so sweet and professional, I've never had a problem getting through to them on the phone or being seen.. I highly recommend this place , all the Doctors there I've seen have been great . But Dr Woodard is my favorite so we have decided we're going to keep each other
I was scheduled for an initial appointment 6 weeks out due to this being my first patient visit and both practitioners being "booked out". When I called to check on my appointment, the front desk stated they had to cancel my appointment and schedule me for another appointment in the following 6 weeks. The administration stated that they do not know the hospital schedule and can not plan when the provider's have to leave for weeks at a time out of office. I was not going to be seen for almost 4 months from my initial referral request. This appears to be poorly managed and unreliable for new patients to get in and be treated. If this would have been conveyed when I scheduled my initial appointment in April, I would have sought out another cardiologist and been able to be treated at another clinic sooner.
Always welcoming folks, place smells great, very clean, comfortable, loads of smiles, knowledgeable, willing to help, don't make you feel like you are a burden. The staff goes above so many other places. All questions answered!
Everyone so professional and yet very nice, from getting registered with Denise to being escorted to exam room you feel confident that your care will be the very best. Then the doctor comes in and listens to your concerns followed by just the right questions. Now you know things are going to get better. You feel like you are in good hands. Trust me you are. I'm so glad I was able to get an appointment here.
Check in staff we're friendly and efficient. Taylor did my EKG in a timely manner. And Mr. Acorti was thorough and offered good advice.
