Vision- Village Improvement Association:
The Village Improvement Association is a non-political organization that plays a critical role in guiding the West Haven Public Library in providing unlimited access to opportunities and resources for self-improvement, cultural awareness, and pure enjoyment for patrons.

The mission of the Village Improvement Association is to collaborate with the library director to maximize use of resources, set policies to guide library operations, secure funding to carry out library programs, and to maintain the facilities and bookmobile so the West Haven Public Library can provide people of all ages free, public access, and quality direction and guidance to books, media, and cultural events in a comfortable, user-friendly, environment that meets the informational, educational, and life-long learning interests of the entire community.

Donations of Materials
Your generous donations of used books, magazines, videos, tapes, CDs, books on tape, and DVDs help us by increasing the variety of our materials and resources. All your gifts are tax deductible. For more information, call the library location nearest to you.
Book Certificates

Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift enriches the lives of those who use the library and is a lasting and thoughtful way to honor a loved one.
