West Haven RV Park and Campground
"We offer some of the nicest facilities in the area, the most highly dedicated staff, a true family atmosphere and campers who take pride in both our park and their individual campsites. We believe that West Haven defines the best in family camping with our hiking trails, stocked fishing pond, and a newly renovated pool with stairs for easy entry and exit. The pool deck space is extremely spacious for relaxing with a good book or sunning. We invite you to stop in to personally experience what we have to offer. We think that after touring our facility, talking to our campers and meeting with us, you will also want to experience that special camaraderie that you will discover at West Haven RV Park."

Had a hard time rating this campground... Easy to make the reservation and camp manager Amanda greeted us as we pulled in. She escorted us to a great little gravel pad with a stone paver patio next to a catch and release fishing pond. Grounds were manicured and very neat with a huge swimming pool and nice playground. The surroundings for short-term stays were very nice. However my morning walk with our dog revealed a less neat area for the "perma-campers". Narrow roads, several sites were a bit rough but most folks took pride in their home sites by personalizing them with flowers, gardens and even rock art. The toilet area was small but clean - 2 stalls. The showers were unisex with single doors to access each from the exterior of the bathhouse - 4 total. This area was rougher - not as clean, 2 hooks on the wall, no bench or seat. Shower stalls were nicely sized and a 5- minute timer starts the water. I panicked a little when I noticed there weren't any temperature controls and the water temp stayed quite brisk for a while. In the end it warmed up perfectly and I was still able to make it through my shower routine in the nick of time. Although it wouldn't have been a big deal to add 5 more minutes! Restrooms: Expected more from this large RV campground... 2 women's toilets and 4 unisex showers on timers. Plus the 3 showers I checked out were all a bit grungy. A bench or shower seat would have been a nice addition.
Last minute camping. Great people camp site neighbors super friendly nice clean warm showers a great rates super kid friendly! Can’t wait to go back
This is the most family friendly campground, wonderful owners. Very clean facilities, and beautiful pool, highly recommended
Very well kept and maintained campground with lots of ammenities the pool needs opened but a very nice campground it also has a fishing lake that is perfect for all ages . it's only 10 minutes from Presque isle which is a n inlet on lake erie with plenty of beaches for all .
My parents have their camp here the pool and play area for kids is a great touch for this had fun
We called to make a reservation and we were told we would have a full hook up which is water, electric and sewer. We told them we needed water as we wanted to clean our tanks . When we arrived we were informed there would be no water at any site. The owner refused to give us a refund even though they lied to us about water. We left and will never return, campground owners can not be trusted to be truthful.
Beautiful privately owned campground. Overnight spots are separate from the seasonal. The staff is kind and helpful. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Short drive to all the Erie attractions. We will definitely stay again
We have been to many campgrounds and this is one of the nicest. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Many of the campsites here have a large paved stone patio that is nicer than any we have had ever seen at any camp grounds. The surrounding area is beautiful. A walk on Rick Road, that is a 1/4 mile away, is wonderful. The Pesque Isle State park is a great destination with many activities. I highly recommend a stay if you come to this area.
Great camp, owners are awesome. Very level sites and paver stone patios super clean . Bathrooms and shower kept clean. Pool is large. The fire pits and frogs in pond are a great time for just sitting out side and relaxing.Service: 5/5
