Great airport! Have landed here a half a dozen times now and it’s always a pleasure. Friendly staff. Nice terminal, runway in good condition. 1st night tie down fee is waived when you purchase fuel. Second night and after is $15 a day. Weekend fuel price special is 0.50 cents off per gallon.
Flew in from Phoenix with an appointment to specifically to look at an airplane for sale. Left in a conference room while Woody chatted on the phone for 40 min. Waste of my time, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Great experience, if you get a chance and thinking. Do it. My first time in an helicopter and the pilot made me feel safe & comfortable. Well do it again.
Great airport to use if you live nearby and have your own plane. My grandfather used this one whenever he flew into town for business. I remember the terminal was pretty nice and spacious. They host an air show every year and I've been to a couple of them.
We love IWS. Have been flying out of IWS for many years. Great service, polite crew, and easy-n-out.
I enjoyed my training here for my private pilot certification. They have a number of very good instructors, very flexible to accommodate my schedule. The CSRs are very helpful and accommodating. Their rental aircraft are well maintained and the amenities are very nice. Free continental breakfast and snacks, coffee and water, massage chairs for resting between flights. Does get busy at times but staff is very professional. I highly recommend!
Great airport less than 30 minutes from downtown Houston. They are staffed 24hrs so I felt comfortable leaving my plane tied down there for the weekend.
Lovely, small, and accommodating little professional airport! Complete with apartments & hangars for rent, a flight school, plenty of lounge areas with massage chairs!, available business/conference rooms, and great breakfast kitchen area & vending machine/snack bar. Owner has improved management as well in recent years, so no complaints at all
If you’ve got the money nice place to be. They have a very good program if you want to learn how to fly
My plane is based here. The line staff are helpful and courteous. The front desk staff are fine, no issues so far. The facility itself is very nice. There is lots of space to relax, pilots lounge and observation area on the second floor where events are hosted once in a while. The bathrooms have always been clean. There is generally free food on the weekends, doughnuts, fruit, etc. I haven't had any poor interactions with the owner/management so I can't speak to the negative reviews here.
