Overall it is a nice library. It could be more welcoming to toddlers and PreK aged kids, I get the sense that age group isn’t their target audience. I do wish the children’s area allowed for more open play. The enclosed room is sometimes inaccessible if there is a class. And even when it is open, the toys are locked in a cabinet. You have to ask for them specially and I wouldn’t describe the vibe as warm when we do. The old kid’s area was more open, warm and fun for little ones in my opinion.
This is an exceptionally beautiful library, but it’s never clean. I usually bring wipes to clean my study space, and after wiping it down, the wipes always end up so dirty. It makes me think the library hasn’t cleaned the space in weeks.
The librarian lady shole was fine walking past me when I was stankin,dirty,musty,filthy..I on even wash my clothes,I got the same jeans from 2 weeks ago..dirtyLilWayn go look for thr mixtape..the way she was looking at Little Ant...boi im telli. Ya...she was taller than me,look like I'd be snug.oml
Fantastic modern library amongst high learning. A wonderful oasis of learning amongst the chaos of a Big 10 school. Lots of plug ins comfy seating. The staff is amazing and lots of private booths, seats and conference rooms for your use. A library gem
Great public library without membership. Everyone can walk in.
Beautiful building with friendly staff. Also, the operating hours are very convenient. Now, the parking garage limits parking to two hours, so plan accordingly. This library is also convenient in regards to the return of materials with various drop boxes located throughout the city of West Lafayette. Update: super noisy on activity nights. Kids run around without supervision like at a playground. Internet computers are horrible and disconnect frequently. New Update: parking garage is now quite expensive. They got rid of 2 hour parking. Now, they charge after first hour, even on weekends.
This is a very great place, both for adults and children. Kids session is also awesome. They have good activities for all age group. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Its must visit place for families.
Always has what I need, and it's free!! Love my library! Wouldn't change a thing! Super friendly staff too
2 storied building with bathrooms on each floor. Needs different library card from TCPL downtown. They can help set that up, if needed.
It’s one of the best Public libraries I have seen around the east & midwest US. They have regional language books, free Art section, helpful guidelines to find trauma and psychological books. It is also quite spacious with up-to-date magazines and novels! They also host games and events with prize giveaways every month!
