The ice was nice and the seating was good but the place was just that. No concessions or restaurant or bar. Good place for a game but not for hanging out after.
West Meadows is a solid rink all around. Nothing fancy but the place is always clean and the ice is really good consistently. They have huge stands so if there is going to be a crowd this is a good rink to use. It's right off 53 and very easy for most people to get to. They need a concession stand or some vending machines that are stocked up. Possibly with covid the stand is done but they need something for when there is games I am sure a lot of people would buy drinks and food myself included.
Great time celebrating a birthday and who knew Sponge Bob would make an appearance so of course we had to force the birthday boy to take a photo.
Overall nice ice rink. Locker rooms are a good size. Each locker room has its own shower/ toilet, not anything fancy but gets the job done. Parking is ample. Stands are enormous, so large that I cannot image they ever get filled. The ice itself is usually in good shape.
It's a very nice arena. We were there for a play off game.
It's fine, but could use some attention. Would be lovely if they could open concessions again. Go Renegades!
It's a cool place for youth hockey.
Our home rink! Plenty of parking and seating. Waiting area is sufficient but not great. Never heard any complaints about locker rooms from the kids.
Good seats, snack bar was open. Tables and chairs available for seating. Our kast time there alk above was closed and only 1 family member able to attend game.
It’s always clean, there is seating outside of the locker rooms and bleachers. The rink is a nice size and the place is very clean. There is a small concession stand and an area to eat as well as some vending options. There is plenty of space to park as well. I have been taking my niece here for years and the commute has never been much of an issue even during rush hour as the building itself is off down a side road but it has two entrance/exits to the main road which is very helpful. If you are hungry there is also plenty around the rink food wise if the concession stand isn’t open at the time. When the figure skaters come out of the rink there isn’t always much room to sit down so just remember that the tables in front of the concession stand are a shared space for everyone to use.
