At the West Newbury School of Music we base our entire music program around one fundamental policy: learning music while having fun and introducing flexibility into the somewhat structured routine of music lessons. Application of modes is one of the key components to our methodology. We keep students interested by applying the lessons they learn with the music they enjoy.
All of our teahers have been hand selected with the help of Professor Les Harris, Sr. of the Berklee School of Music. Les is a 35 year retired professor and is currently giving lessons to our teachers as well as college level students and professional musicians. We have structured ourselves to be a school that will make a difference in many students' lives. Lessons are given on a weekly basis in either 1/2 hour or hour increments depending on the age and skill set of the student. Our payment terms are on a lesson-by-lesson basis and no application fees or other hidden costs apply. Our rates are $25 per half hour and $50 per hour.
