The bathrooms are gorgeous with beautiful wood stalls and the shower was nice. The pool was cool, almost cold even in July but you got used to it. You didn't mind the lack of shade because the water was so cool. The store was very nice and had useful stuff, even towels! Helpful and friendly staff. The spots are a mix of shady and sunny. That sun is hot in the summer though so I think a shady spot will feel very nice. We had a sunnier than shadier. The kids liked the jump pad too.
Very nice campground! Bathrooms are pretty and clean! Looked like the kids were enjoying the park and pool! We were traveling and stayed just one night to and from our destination. This is not a good place to tent, we tented the first time we were there and could not sleep. The noise from the highway and interstate, and noise from the nearby truck stops was unbearable. The second time we stayed, I was able to easily adjust my reservation and we got a camping cabin. Can’t hear the noise in the cabin! Peaceful sleep that night! Lots of RV spots that looked nice!
Facilities are nice. Clean bathrooms and cabins. Playground, mini golf, pool, volleyball, store and laundry are all great. Staff is helpful and friendly. Easy location to access and close to local restaurants. Campground is right off of a very busy highway and the traffic noise is loud all night. We enjoyed the campground but didn’t get much sleep.
Nice campground for an overnight stay. It’s near a busy road but wasn’t too loud. The bathrooms and showers were nice & very clean. My only complaint is that the door code to the bathrooms wasn’t on so anyone could come and go. Taking a shower in there alone at night was a little unnerving. The showers should definitely have a door code for safety. Otherwise, great stay and friendly staff via text messages.
Staff was very nice. They have a pizza shop on site that's pretty cool. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the cramped feeling, it seemed they also put trailers in areas that weren't normally camp spots but not positive. Also, the 8pm quiet time means pool and everything closes which sucks when you roll in at 6 or 7 in the evening.
We recently stayed here. We paid for full hook ups but really only had electricity. No one was in the office due to it being a holiday so we called the after hours number, to ask why we didn’t have water. They said the pipes froze and they thought they were fixed. We were told to use the bath house. We understand the weather did damage but it would have been nice if they contacted us in advance saying they didn’t have water and gave us an option to get a full refund because we would have went somewhere else. These places don’t understand when you live in RV, it sucks not having water. We couldn’t do our dishes, flush our toilet correctly, and had to use water bottles to brush our teeth. A bath house is inconvenient to go to. My family warned me about this place and I didn’t listen but I will never go back.
Loved this place on a November stopover one of the few open past Nov 1! -- friendly staff, spotless restrooms with hot showers, lots of level sites, clean little dog park, and close to a great steakhouse Round The Bend. Much quieter than the usual highway-close KOA. We'll be back!
First, we were tent camping. Most people were in RVs, so our experience was a bit different. Pros: -surprisingly cheap for a KOA -has a small pool, but pretty deep, so the kids had a lot of fun -playground was awesome, with a little zipline and a jumping pillow/pad -bathrooms were in great shape -staff was friendly and helpful -camp was quiet--no one was loud or obnoxious after quiet hours -site had a picnic table and plenty of space for our large tent. Cons: -our tent site was literally right on the side of the road. There was a privacy fence put up around it see picture, but still. We heard every vehicle driving by and got flashed with headlights. -campsite is close enough to the freeway that you hear traffic all night long. This is great place if you're in an RV. If you're tent camping, just realize that it's not going to be a peaceful experience in nature.
Great campsite! They had an entire weekend of Halloween festivities during my stay, which was fun to see. It was a very clean campground, and they were so friendly. They even escorted me to my site when I arrived. Highly recommend!
We stayed here 10/10/22 for a couple days. The sites are super tight, so tight there is no room for a fire or fire ring, approximately 8-10 feet between rigs. When you consider a picnic table as 5' wide you don't have room to walk between your picnic table and your camper without stepping on your neighbor's sewer hose. The campground is very dusty! The roads in the campground and the campground sites are limestone and there is always dust. If when a big rig or a few rigs come in during the afternoon, evening there is a huge dust storm as they roll through slowly. Cars that have been parked for just a couple days are white with limestone dust. The highway noise roars 24/7!
