West Orthodontics - Truckee

Today my son got his braces off so we just spent the last year and a half arm-and-arm with Dr. West and his team. I must say, our experience was flawless! From the initial consultation, to the financial consultation where they laid out the price and billing options very clearly and simply, to the every few weeks appointments… I can’t say enough good things about everyone we encountered. There was one instance where a bracket broke on my son’s braces during a school break when the office was closed. Yet within a few hours of calling someone came into the office just for us, just to fix this issue. Dr. West was always very approachable and friendly and made sure it was clear where we were at in the braces journey. He also noted that my son’s 12 year molars are late in coming in, but he didn’t hold up taking off his braces because of this. It all just boils down to a great experience with a group that truly cares. Thank you for everything Dr. West and team!

My dentist sent a referral last year to this orthodontist. Got a call this week about the office having availability for orthodontic services. I appreciated the call as I am still I’m very much interested in orthodontic services after my wedding next month. However the person that called me sounded upset with me when I asked questions to clarify which office was calling me and what the location was. My questions were ‘I didn’t hear, what office did you say was calling?’ and ‘My dentist sent a few referrals to orthodontists, where is the office located?’ Our short conversation felt strangely hostile, so I thanked them and ended the call. This isn’t the office for me.

DR. West was ok. But I am glad my son is off braces. The staff, specially the woman at the reception Nicole I believe...lord. They act like they were doing us a huge favor when I was paying big bucks for the service. My daughter needs braces now and I will be happy to drive to Reno once a month for 2 years. If you don't mind serious Pitbull faces and being mistreated bring yourself here. Otherwise stay out. All good reviews here is because they give you "points" if you post it for them.

We are extremely thankful for Dr. West's assistance in responding to our daughter's emergency needs with her braces. Dr. West was very professional, kind, polite, generous and was very quick to respond. We are also very grateful for the staff of West Orthodontics for accommodating us on their busy schedule for the day. We give Dr. West and his staff our highest recommendation.

I met with three orthodontist in Reno where I live before hearing about Dr. West. After meeting him and his staff, it was no contest. I really felt like Dr. West cared about my children's well being. It was worth the drive.

We were vacationing in Truckee and Jared's team was excellent in helping us with a slipped wire. They got using same day and took care of the problem. Clean safe friendly!!

Dr. West and his staff are personable and professional. Our town is so lucky to have an amazing, committed orthodontist. Dr. West is knowledgeable and amazing with the teens he sees.

Super nice office all around and Dr West is a great orthodontist and person!!!

I got braces there, most of the staff were fine the the front desk person was snappy and passive aggressive. Decoration could use a bit of work.

We love West Orthodontics. Both my kids have had treatment with excellent results. Friendly staff.
