Provides primary care on a sliding fee scale. Family planning and prenatal care are available, as are testing and treatment of communicable diseases.
West Palm Beach Health Center (Health Department) offers low-cost family planning. Services include family planning and counseling, birth control, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment if needed, pregnancy testing, reproductive health education and sterilization.
Family Planning Program (Title X)
Title X is a federally-funded program that provides family planning and reproductive healthcare services to women and men of childbearing age and of all income levels. Many patients qualify for a no-cost visit and no one is denied services based on inability to pay.
Services We Provide:
~Birth Control information and supplies: IUDs (Mirena and Paragard), the Pill, the Shot (Depo), the Patch, the Ring, contraceptive implant (Nexplanon), emergency contraception (Plan B) and condoms.
~Teen Confidential visits, no parental consent needed
~Sterilization procedures: Vasectomy and Bilateral Tubal Ligation
~Screening for sexually transmitted infections and HIV
~Health education and counseling, including info regarding abstinence
~Pregnancy testing and counseling
~Basic infertility services
~Cervical and breast cancer screening
~Education and Access to Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)
