The West Thompson Fire Department is 100% volunteer; providing fire protection, rescue and emergency medical services to the districts of West Thompson and Mechanicsville, both located within the town of Thompson, Connecticut.
MISSION STATEMENT
The West Thompson Fire Department is dedicated to the safety and protection of our community. We strive to prevent and minimize the loss of life, damage to the environment and loss of property from the adverse effects of fire, medical emergencies and hazardous conditions.
