West-Way Club - Social Ballroom Dance Club

What a beautiful experience from start to finish. The organizers run things beautifully. The dance floor is big and always for dancing in nice long strides. The staff are all nice, social and polite. They make you feel welcomed and allow for an enjoyable evening. At Access Ballroom Every Month we try to have an outing with the students and this place was the perfect place for our social dancing evening. They even have a diner served in the evening to help ensure you keep your energy up. Definitely recommended

I was invited by one of my daughter friends mom to attend your location. I really enjoyed myself and was so pleased to see such gentlemen ready to take us on the floor and dance with us even though we didn't know the steps they were patient and willing to teach us. thumbs up for a great evening and I'm please that there are some lesson you can take during the week to learn the steps.

I hopped in for an impromptu line dancing class and it was fun. I had no clue what I was doing, because most of the participants were more advanced, but it was a nice atmosphere. People were kind and very lovely. Just be aware that beginners dance classes are not really for beginners ! You need to call and confirm which course is for the novice.

It is an amazing place for ballroom dancers. Their bard of directors work hard to manage the place smoothly and Mary, the manager is extremely friendly and efficient. I love this place.

It is a nice place to go on Wednesday afternoon and or Saturday evening. The people who frequent the Westway are of all different capabilities. For the most part it is pretty good. It is a great deal!!, snacks on Wednesday and a meal on Saturday! And the music is good!

I went here with a friend to line dance on a Saturday afternoon. The dance floor is a dream to dance on. The place is a bit dark but nice. Lots of round tables with comfy chairs around them. $7 to line dance for 2 hours.

Friday and Saturday is the best time to get those skills learned practised on a chaotic, very full dance floor to get comfortable dancing. Fun place with a friendly crowd and no judgements. It's not expensive and includes dinner.

West-Way Club is an awesome place to spend the evening with friends and fellow ballroom dancing addicts! The dance floor is very large! The tables are always full but the dance floor easily accommodates everyone! They play a really good variety of smooth and latin music. They have two sets of line dances on Saturday evenings. Although our group of friends formed through our association with Arthur Murray North York studio are not members of the club, they always make us feel welcome. The level of dancers range from Newcomers to at least Full Silver dancers. Regardless of your dancing ability, or age they make you feel welcome and comfortable on the dance floor! They will always help you out and encourage you to try the line dancing! The age of the dancers ranges from early twenties a hand full to the mid to late 80''s. Their teachers come out too! The DJ is knows how to vary the music and the volume level is perfect -- you can have a conversation at the table with your friends! The light supper is always nice we have returned to the West-Way club four times now and are looking forward to making it back again!. The dress code is simple -- shirt and dress pants for the men and dress or skirt for the ladies. Nothing fancy. Some women dress up and have beautiful costumes others like me are in a skirt and blouse. 'Anything goes!'. Overall a wonderful evening is always guaranteed. Definitely a place to go on a Saturday night with friends and family to 'dance the night away'! HAVE FUN!

My favourite ballroom in Toronto. The people are very friendly and warm. Saturday nights are most popular; it's a very social dance crowd. The place is packed to the rafters, same with the tea dance on Wednesdays noon to 330pm. On Fridays and Sundays the dancing is more focussed, great for improvers and people who want to practice their dancing. There are line dancing lessons and other classes and events held throughout the week. It's a busy ballroom! Meals and 50/50 draws are served on Fri, Sat and Sun nights. The Westway Club is owned and managed by a board comprised of the dancèrs who use it...volunteers all! They do a wonderful job to the great benefit of those who visit. Highly recommended!

Great dance floor and tables around floor, nice atmosphere and people, enough parking at nights, other businesses closed makes more parking spaces available, good dance music DJ s, great deal with food pre-covid time, all ages but more seniors on sat nites dances, cafe, hot water and teas all night
