Had a great time seeing Indiana Jones last night. Snack bar is top notch. I only wish that when the warning comes on telling people to turn off vehicle lights, that it was vocal so people can hear it. 2 dumbos had their lights on the whole movie. Other than that, it was awesome! Definitely will be back.
I hadn’t been in about a decade but I took my nephew to the drive ins and was really happy with the experience we had. They paved the lot which made parking and setting up much easier, and they had a huge selection of food to pick from at their snack shop. They even had a bar that sold drinks to enjoy during your movie! I regret having not gone for so long and hope they stay open forever because it’s rare when you can share something from your past with todays young generation!
Movie nights, at the drive in are different, you can do a birthday party early and then everyone see a movie or you can hangout and then see a movie! Comfy chair and a really good food will make the difference, the drive is not to bad the screens are big enough arrived early and you can choose a good spot, Great for a family night Definitely recommend.
Best drive in! We come all the way from the east bay to this theater because it is the best! Best food, service, and the screens aren't dim. The atmosphere is great and most of the people are respectable about turning off headlights - they even have employees that go around and offer covers for people who's lights don't turn off.
Very fun place! The bathrooms were clean and stocked. No sticky floors or counters. The employees were very sweet and helpful. I really enjoyed the popcorn as well, and we all know that it's a make or break if the popcorn tastes burned! I'm definitely coming back to see Slother-house!
Really fun, actually. Haven't been to the drive in's for 5-6 years. I'm thankful we are fortunate enough to have one right here in Sacramento. Love being able to bring your own munchies! The snack bar burned a few months ago but they had food trucks onsite with all kinds of stuff tacos, bbq, kettle corn, etc. UPDATE 11/30/22: The snack bar is reopening & it's a big improvement. UPDATE #2 5/20/23 The snack bar is reopened. And it's great! The usual movie theater type fare. But, also a nice looking burger & fry joint. Also a full bar serving alcohol. Mega improvement! Definitely worth a visit. Just don't go for a movie you really want to "see". The screen can be darker than the theater and vehicle headlights sometimes make it harder to view the movie. Nonetheless it was cool and nostalgic.
The fact that we're still able to experience a past time these days is amazing in itself, I brought my young sons and mom here and we had a good time. Definitely brought back memorys from my child hood and being stuffed in the trunk so my brother can avoid paying my ticket There was a minor glare on the screen which sucked during scenes that tool place in the dark but other than that im glad there is still drive in movie theaters that still have the "Snack bar" in the center of lot.
Our first visit was a blast! Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had never been to a drive in before. I know. Where have I been? Also there was a pillow guy Cesars Scissors. Super friendly. Reasonably priced and quality work! Bathrooms are really clean and kept up. We will be back!
Seen the Barbie movie for the 2nd time. I love the drive in because u can bring your own food and talk without offending anybody. This drive in is awesome because it has so many screens. Like 12 or something. Pretty awesome! Lots of cheap hotels near by.
We went for Tuesday night discount prices. It was pretty busy. We got there about an hour early, and there were only a half dozen other cars already parked. The movie started right on time. We used a portable speaker and sat outside our car. We had a nice night, and the sunset was gorgeous! It's always fun to go see a movie here.
