Purchasing new furniture for our home was an experience that Jessica, Paul and Cathy made exciting. They were each so patient in helping us navigate through the wide variety of design options that would best suite our lifestyle and family. Jessica spent countless hours creating design options for each of the rooms we were furnishing while providing her amazing eye for detail and style. We so appreciated her ability to truly listen to what our style choices were while offering insight and advice to pieces that would also fall within our budget. Westchester House and Home is truly a unique shopping experience that we would highly recommend.
My husband and I have had a wonderful experience working with Kathy to select carpets and rugs for our new home. She has such a positive attitude and has really made an effort to understand our taste and ideas, but has also offered many great suggestions based on her extensive knowledge. Our stair and hallway runner were installed yesterday and look beautiful. We've also enjoyed working with Jessica on lighting and other needs. She, too, has been unfailingly pleasant and positive, and we're happy with the purchases we've made with her help.
Branka in the tile department is wonderful. She was patient with us as we browsed a few different projects until we decided we would update our kitchen. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and offers wonderful insight and advice. We would definitely return for our next project. The tile selection is surprisingly large and impressive.
If you want one stop shopping for all your needs in your home this is the place to come to! It might be overwhelming when you first walk in, but in minutes some wonderful, knowledgeable person will come over to you and your shopping journey will be fun and perfect from the onset. No longer will you feel stress as all your needs will be met for your home. From furniture to fabrics to carpet to bathroom needs, to window treatments, or decorative items, etc. there will be an expert in every department. If it is not on the floor it will be found for you in a catalogue, Some incredible person will even come to your home to get a feeling for your tastes and what you are trying to buy only with a promise that you will buy one thing from Westchester House and Home which is very easy to do! You can also bring pictures if you so desire of what the area looks like that you are adding to or want to change. This place is a find ! Personally, my husband and I could not be happier with how fortunate we were to find this unbelievable store and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to accomplish their goals quickly and with the expertise of one of these delightful people like Jessica! I worked with Kathy to have my basement stairs carpeted and a runner installed on our main staircase. Everything came out beautifully. Kathy was wonderful to work with - she quickly got my vision and narrowed down samples for me, which made the process so much easier. Installation was quick and very well done - our stairs were not easy! I would highly recommend Allen Carpet at Westchester House and Home.
I just finished having carpet laid in my bedrooms and hardwood floors in my living and dinning room. I couldn't be happier with the entire project. Kathy was extremely knowledgeable and very professional! Promised dates were kept and the installation team were efficient, neat and courteous. I've already recommended Westchester House and Home to many friends and family members. Beyond satisfied! It was a pleasure doing business with Westchester House and Home. They absolutely care about their customers.
Love the design team and Paul, the manager, is kind and patient and a fantastic listener. He also knows all of the products extraordinarily well. The furniture we’ve bought here - from dining room table for 16 to couches and tables and bookshelves and stools - they are the highest quality and seemingly indestructible. It’s worth the trip and the expertise. Couldn’t be happier!
Kathleen at Westchester House & Home had a great suggestion for a new stair runner for my older house. It looks great and makes the area brighter and more updated, but still fits in with the rest of the decor and architecture.
What a find! This upstairs showroom is a world of design-finds - everything you might need to redo or refresh your home. The on-site designers are super-helpful and will gladly go to your home for a consultation!
Kathy in the carpet and flooring department is wonderful to work with. There is a varied assortment of rugs, all types and all prices to choose from.
