Bought a used 2009 genesis from them a while ago. We travelled 7 hours to check out the car. I forgot the salesperson name, but will be updating it once I find out. We checked the front tires, but the back two had almost no tread left and the brakes were almost low. They sold us a car with breaks that needed to be changed the moment we arrived and no tread on the back tires, which is ILLEGAL. They said the car had no problems either, but it had electrical problems they temporarily fixed. The steering wheel wouldn’t adjust itself and neither did the seat once we got home a week later. The brake sensor a month later from normal driving bugged out and costed us an extra 500 dollars. We got the car at an average deal if it was in better condition, but we ended up having to pay around 2k over because they lied to us about its condition. The salesperson was also shady and tried to get us to buy and get us out of there quickly, because he knew the car had problems and we were tired from the 7 hour drive, plus the other 7 hour drive back we had to look forward to. Since you most likely live in LA, there are a lot of dealerships. Do not come here at all, do your research and find a better dealership.
After having a bad experience at another dealership in LA, I was wary of trusting any car salesman. However, the guy I talked to at Western Motors Osman seemed like a nice guy. After talking for a week or so, I went to check out a used Promaster, and after giving it a test drive I knew this was the one! There was a loose panel that I asked Osman and his team to fix, and they promised me that it would be done. The next week, I went to pick up my Promaster! As promised the panel was fixed. I thanked Osman, and began my journey home to San Diego. After about 90 minutes of driving, I suddenly the engine temperature went through the roof and I had to pull over. Smoke was pouring out of the engine! I was sure I had been scammed... fearing my calls would be dodged, I called Osman & Western Motors to tell them what happened. To my surprise and delight, they took full ownership of the situation. They had had the van inspected before I took if it off the lot, and we were all surprised that something had gone wrong. In the end it turned out to be a minor issue: a radiator hose had come loose. The van was still under warrant and was fixed by the Ram dealership. Long story short, Western Motors Inc not only paid for my Lyft rides to and from the Ram dealership, they also paid for the towing expense of the van. In short, when something went wrong they stepped up and addressed the problems as best they could. Such integrity should be commended. What happened to my van was bad luck, but their integrity made the experience not nearly as bad as it could've been. Thank you Osman and team! You have a happy customer here. -Rudolph
The entire process was easy and fast. I contacted Sonia if I can go check out the car. I like it and and threw and offer. We negotiated a bit and came to a number I thought was fair. I purchased the vehicle and had a great experience.
I checked out two cars here, both fairly new but were just falling apart. They have some onsite mechanic of their own but he clearly doesn't do a great job because the cars were in terrible condition. One had a huge interior piece falling off, and the AC not even working. That's the kinda stuff you should fix prior to showing the car. The cars drove poorly as well. Obviously I didn't test every car on the lot, but if 2 cars were in that condition, its safe to assume the other cars which on paper aren't as good as the corolla and sonata were just as bad. Service was alright I guess, but unless you speak Korean, it'll be hard to explain what you want, mean, etc. The loop they have for your test drive is small as hell, what can you expect to gain from a small drive like that? 2 minutes. Its a small dealership but the cars aren't taken good care of it seems.
For my first car in California, I should say, it is hard to find an honest car salesman. Now, if you to this place, you gotta talk with Mr. Jay, He is very friendly and he will fight for you to find the best option, I got the car I was looking for, clean, no issues and almost new.
Got a 2009 BMW 528 with the help of Jay chon he helped me out tremendously!! Had the car washed ,oil changed and even put gas in the vehicle for me . So far I have had no problems and it runs very smooth !! Would definitely recommend to Family and friends
This dealer is great, but you need to check the tires and that means the spare tire. I got a very nice 2012 Prius with navigation, BT, HD radio, plus rear camera, but no spare tire. I will get one, but I will be given one from one of the other Prius models.
I disagree with 3.8 star rating my experience was strictly 5 star all staff were very professional overly respectful and went the extra mile to satisfy my needs I would recommend to anyone looking for a good dependable car at a great price thanks to Andy Kim and the rest of the WESTERN Motors staff
The sales manager was great help me out got me the truck of my choice and off we go now with my new car on thr line.
These people are untrustworthy!!! Truck never works from day one lots of unkept promises stuck with a broken car lemon stay away from this place they don't keep their word!!!!!! Zero stars!!!!
