This along with our reputation for being honest and ethical has allowed our business to grow year after year by referrals and repeat clientele.
Western Foodservice Equipment & Design has been in business since 1996. The two founding partners have over seventy years combined experience in food service equipment operations, manufacturing, sales, and kitchen design. Our restaurant projects have ranged in size from under 500 square feet to over 20,000. They encompass single restaurants, chain restaurants, country clubs, churches, schools, and industrial facilities. Our primary markets are the Southwest states but we have completed projects and shipped equipment to many other states.
Western’s President, David Kronwald, is the backbone of the company. After 30 years of successfully owning and operating a chain of restaurants with his family, he decided to begin a new venture in selling food service equipment and designing food-service operations. With his longtime friend and mentor, Ron Hedberg, they co-founded Western Foodservice Equipment and Design. Ron’s success and reputation for providing food service equipment and unique designs was evident during the 1970’s & 1980’s with such chains as Big Four Restaurants, Chart House, TGI Friday’s, Fish Market Restaurants and many others. Together, they built this company on honesty, integrity, and high morals; which is still the focus of the company today.
