The Nashville Station of the Western Holmes County Fire District is comprised of 30 Volunteer Firefighters & EMT's
Average of 90 Fire calls and 250 EMS calls per year
The 5 acre lot we purchased for the future site of our new station across from The Nashville Church of Christ was paid for by our members fundraising efforts and generous donations of our local community. NO tax revenue was used toward the land payments.
Also currently the Chief Officers are working on obtaining grant funding to fund the new Station on the land. The Chief Offices will exercise every attempt possible at obtaining this funding through a grant, however if this route doesnt prove successful the Station may opt to go to the community for a Building Levy if local economic conditions improve.
