The greatest staff and Dr Dean is amazing. He LISTENS to you! I drive almost an hr just to come here to good Doctors and staff that care. The front staff are equally amazing
Dr Dean, this is Ron C. I just wanted to let you know how disappointed I am with your staff. I was told today that basically since I have been healthy the last 3yrs and have not needed an appointment... I am treated as a new patient!! It doesn't matter that I have going to you from the 1st day you started with Dr. Vanderglass Approx 26yrs. Therefore, I am regretfully leaving your practice. I am sad to know that have gotten so big that patient loyalty doesn't matter!! I really liked you as my Dr too. I am so disappointed... I can't stand it!!
We have been going to Western since Dr. Nourse came there. Today, because of scheduling issues, my wife had to see Jennifer Dyer while I see Dr. Nourse. I get a phone call while with Dr. Nourse and was told to go to the room my wife was in. She was extremely upset. Dyer's male nurse was yelling at our grandson and my wife to control our grandson on the way to the room. He demanded my wife to grab my grandson's hand and hold it. Our grandson has grown up in this doctor's office. He knows exactly what room to go when they tell us the room number. All he was doing was going ahead to the room they were to be in. The nurse was extremely rude. Dr. Dyer's demeanor was less than desirable as well. Drs. should listen to the patient and not "preconceive" what we are there for. We will definitely not be seeing Dr. Dyer or her staff again.
After going to this practice almost my entire life, i am leaving this practice and should have left sooner. I have so much I could say, but I'll keep it short. J. Dyer has NO business working in this profession. The past few appointments I've had with her she was cruel, uninterested and extremely rude to me. She never listened to what I had to say or how I felt, and when I cried to her about my depression she shamed me for it. I left feeling discouraged, humiliated, and disappointed. She refused to recertify my FMLA paperwork even though she knew it would cost me my job if she didn't. It seems that after I expressed my feelings about not being heard, she's been intentionally making things difficult for me. I'm sorry but that's not professional, and that's not how you treat patients, especially ones who are struggling with their mental health. I was so upset after that appointment, if I didn't have a good support system around me idk what would have happened, because she put me down and made me feel horrible. I wish I had recorded that appt bc what she said and how she spoke to me was appalling and disgusting. I pray she doesn't treat anyone else with depression that way bc sometimes that's the last straw for people suffering. Aside from that, she never sent my prescriptions to the right places correctly, I can't tell you how many times I called back and forth and did their job for them so I could have my life saving medications. I also went without meds for days because of that. I loved this practice, I loved my past doctor's and it breaks my heart to have to leave, but I am RUNNING from this practice and will NEVER be back.
I saw comments about rude staff. I did not have that experiencw at all. In fact, a daughter was in a wheel chair and her mother got up slowly from chair. She said she usually brings her cane. The gentleman asked the daughter to wait and walked the mother at the car and let her hold on to him. Then he came back in and welled the daughter to the car.
I have been a patient for 10 years plus. I have recently noticed the turnover of Doctors. My recent experience was to get a prescription refilled it took 10 times of calling in and being spoke to so rudely, I could not believe the treatment I was receiving from staff and nurses. Then then gave me an excuse that was not true. If you are treated so rude over the phone, what type of treatment will you be given for an emergency or a medical needs? I have no confidence or feel safe with western medicine to treat my medical needs. Very SAD what they have become and in their treatment of their patients.
I can't write enough regarding the exceptional care I have received from Western Medicine Family Physicians. The professionalism, is spot on. The Diabetes department is awesome, so friendly, knowledgeable, dependable.
the receptionists have been rude on multiple different occasions. I would not recommend Dr. Dyer. She doesn’t seem interested to speak with you and she doesn’t engage in conversation or try to make you feel comfortable. I have been going here for about three years and have had the same experience with the receptionists and Dr. Dyer each time. I will be finding a new doctor’s office.
I always have a very positive experience with staff and my doctor but she was not available and I had Telehealth with Jennifer Dyer. This was not a very good appointment. Jennifer never smiled, seemed totally uninterested. She did offer blood work, but even that, I had to suggest some things to be tested. My daughter is a PA and I know she would never treat a patient with disinterest.
